Heute haben wir musikalischen Besuch aus dem eigenen Hause. Danke liebster @casanova_tony dass du uns einen so schönen schwunghaften Podcast mitgebracht hast!
& dazu natürlich auch noch ein kleines Interview:

👉🏼 Was hast du positives aus der Pandemie für Dich herausgezogen und dazugelernt?

TC: Ich habe gelernt, dass in jeder Krise auch eine Chance steckt. Vor der Pandemie fühlte ich mich öfters ausgelaugt und hatte manchmal sogar das Gefühl, nicht mehr auf dem richtigen Weg zu sein. Es war also der perfekte Zeitpunkt, einen Gang zurückzuschalten und eine Zwangspause einzulegen. Ich habe wieder mehr zu mir finden können und auch verstanden, dass mein Lebensstil und meine Sicht der Dinge nicht immer gut für mich waren. Ich habe mich viel mit Themen außerhalb meiner gewohnten Blase beschäftigt, viel gelesen und neues dazu gelernt - z.b. wie man Webseiten baut oder ein Flugzeug im Flugsimulator fliegt, haha. :)

👉🏼 Auf welche Fähigkeit von Dir als Produzent bist Du stolz? Was würdest Du gerne besser können?

TC: Irgendwie habe ich es anscheinend geschafft, einen gewissen Wiedererkennungswert in meinen Tracks zu entwickeln. Das habe ich lange selbst gar nicht bewusst wahrgenommen, erst als andere Menschen mir das so über meine Tracks gespiegelt haben, hab ich's auch erkannt. Das macht mich insofern Stolz, als dass es eins meiner ersten Ziele war, die ich als kleiner Tony erreichen wollte. 
Was ich gerne besser machen würde, ist mir weniger Gedanken zu machen. Ich steh mir oft selber im Weg und bin viel zu kritisch mit mir. Das hemmt mich beim Produzieren und lässt wenig kreativen Freiraum entstehen. So ist es leider schon öfters passiert, dass ich vor meinem inneren Kritiker kapituliert habe und die Tracks letztendlich in die digitale Abstellkammer gewandert sind.

👉🏼 Was wirst du als erstes tun, wenn du wieder mit vielen Menschen auf einem Dancefloor stehst?

TC: Ich denke als Erstes werde ich alle umarmen. Nach so langer Abstinenz brauchen wir wieder Nähe zu einander :)

It's finally summer - the birds are chirping, the sun is shining. And we are very happy to present you a new Traumcast today. This time the 3 guys from @kalahamoon gives us the very special honor and have conjured up a beautiful LIVE set. Enjoy listening :)

 - and of course: here is our little interview:

1) How did you fare during the pandemic? what have you learned in this special time?

Before all of that happened we were preparing for an exciting summer tour. A moment of settlement wasn’t really a thing until then, so the pandemic hit us on the brakes and gave us time to take some more responsibility as individuals. 

Being an artist in the times where all the events stopped, was definitely very challenging. But it also taught us to be open to new ways and to not always sticking to the same old patterns. That's why it's important to be aware of the situations we face and live life to the fullest, in any given moment. A big part of the whole process was the hunt for creativity, that forced us to look more in our inner selves. 

After our plans got canceled we decided to produce our latest EP Nangijala, a piece of work which gave us motivation again. The extra freetime gave us the patience to work with a lot of intention in the music, both with publishing it and making a vinyl pressing. 

Anxiety and hopelessness was definitely related to recent times, both in our personal life and in the world around us. Coming closer together around these topics helped us to get to know each other even better than before. We realised that there was more to the project than just the music and that we had to be together, with more depth than just on a professional level.

2) Do you sometimes argue about different styles you want to make in your tracks? how do you deal with conflicts?

Instead of thinking in styles and genres, we have all together found a way to combine our tastes. Because we have been trustful in the intuition of each other and in the freedom to express ourselves. Our music comes from jamming and playing with different instruments, so the process comes quite naturally. 

When you get a funky guitar riff on a trancy bassline with some ancient vocals on top, you feel like traveling through unexplored worlds. Finally the fusion with electronic colours make it so much more diversified, that surprises wait at every next moment. 

But sometimes we do experience conflicts surrounding goals, commitments and communication. We are all deeply into the project, but at the same time we have certain differences about aspects of the band. This is often being discussed, so we listen to each other and meet in the middle of our opinions. It's all about compromise and consideration, when you want to create projects together. This leads us to deal easily with fights and have acceptance towards each other as colleagues and friends.


3) Is there a biggest wish for the future that you want to realize as a trio?

You know, music is a medicine that helps the mind to heal and overcome the daily bumps of the road. This is a factor that we as creators of the music and our listeners have in common. Therefore our wishes are to keep creating alternatives which balances out the toxic modern ways of living. To be a part of a movement, which is transparent towards gender, status and geographical placement. Music brings hope and freedom, which is a big motivation to spread this powerful energy in the world and connect people with each other. 

We are dreaming about going out on a bigger tour outside of Europe. And even if we get plenty of creativity in our studio in Berlin, we would like to travel the world together to connect and learn about different cultures of society. This would help us get inspired and evolve, both as a band and as human beings.

Hailing from the sunny south of Spain, a historic cradle of vanguard artists, German Brigante native of Malaga makes his way on the basis of talent and effort. Talking in terms of talent German Brigante has achieved a distinctive and unmistakable sound easily recognizable, capable of making him stand out. We also want to emphasize effort, a quality that together with the innate talent that this artist has, becomes the sum that gives rise to the authenticity tangible in every of Brigante’s beats.

These qualities, polished in long studio journeys, plus the love that artist professes to the electro and break-beat sounds in the likes of Prodigy, are the ingredients that have helped to configure the sound palette of this producer. That is why top labels such as Dirtybird, Exploited or Diynamic have released the works of German Brigante. All of these tracks, composed with myriad of details placed in the right time at the ideal moment, received the support of artists such as Solomun or Dixon.

Moving forward with the productions that have marked the discography of this artist, we must highlight the icing in the cake, his album Bipolar. Released on Get Physical Music, this work is an exercise in maturity through the 10 songs that complete the LP.

At this point of career, German has reached a total freedom in terms of creation. The main result of this is his own record label, Manitox. A place conceived since its inception as the ideal platform, where not only is it shown in the most personal way possible, with productions such as 'Marimba'. This is also the place where he is giving the opportunity to newcomers to show their skills. Artists,  in addition to already established names, that we will surely hear about them in the future.

We can not overlook his figure behind the decks because we are in front of a DJ that has already visited the five continents. From USA to Australia, with stops in South Africa, in each of these performances he has made clear his unique style and his connection with the crowd. Among all the places he has visited, we can affirm with no hesitation that Argentina and Brazil have been the countries where he most connected to the audience

BIO:
After his first release 'Rainbow Road' was focused on the feel good vibes of house music, with a strong Chicago and UK house influence. A new sound has emerged from Strange this year, as the world went into lock down, many lives changed dramatically.

For Strange this was a turning point where he focused his feelings on the music and the sound began to take hold. He began to explore dark melodic breaks, also known as Electronica. He used the time to create his single 'Shadow', which was selected for release on Stil vor Talent, and made it to #19 on Beatport's Electronica top 100, while also being added to Oliver Koletzki's Beatport Essential Tracks: June.

Shortly after, 'Flow' his next instalment and EP was released with the UK label Capital Heaven and was selected for the Beatport charts - Best New Breaks/Breakbeat & UK Bass: June and Opening Fundamentals 2021.

Now starting to break out in the underground scene of Sydney, Blake has begun to put his interests in producing Experimental Techno, something that he has enjoyed playing around in clubs, warehouse parties and rave's, usually playing to a mass audience under a highway bridge in the wee hours of the morning. These experiences have been captured and portrayed into the music that you are soon to hear.

Having been going to Fusion for 10 years, this was a dream come true and I probably never was so excited and nervous before a set. Although I imagined how it hopefully would be, the moment itself exceeded my expectations and I just couldn't stop smiling. I feel very grateful that my vision of what a sunrise at Fusion can sound like resonated so well with you all.. 
Please excuse the occasional audio glitches - there was a voltage problem with the mixer which made the audio cut out at random moments. There aren't too many of those though :)

En su proceso creativo es clave el momento presente, la humildad y la sensibilidad para recibir las notas, los colores y el mensaje  que nos toca el hombro para aparecerse a través de nosotros, el canal entre el cielo y la tierra.

Tras un viaje que parte en el sur de Chile pasando por las montañas al norte de Brazil, hoy desde Berlin nos regala un set inspirado en la naturaleza, la magia, la mujer, la unión y la fuerza para continuar marchando al ritmo de nuestros corazones y nuestras libertades.
