Description: I dug out my Spider Capo the other day and decided to try another two capo setup on the guitar for some more finger picking. Using 5/4 also appealed to me again for some reason. I did some bass using the low register of the Reface CP's fake Wurli and then did some melodic stuff using a few of the patches from the EZKeys fake Mellotron.

Tonight I was feeling the influence of a band called The Autumn Defense, which is a project of two of the members of Wilco. This doesn't really sound like them, they're awesome and their music is super rich and fleshed out with amazing musicianship. Anyway, I came up with the acoustic guitar part, then the drums, the bass, and last the melody.

2018 Day 15

Pushing through a multitude of technical and other difficulties to make some more instrumental music tonight. I wanted to make it "easy" on myself so I picked up the acoustic guitar and wrote some fingerpicking parts. But I also wanted to use the Spider Capo and another capo so I wound up making something I could only barely play, oops!
