First track Vintage teams up with the mighty fine Love Bites for the killer sonics of Self Pleasures. Well-known disco samples & synths lead us through with classic drums and phat punching bass, adding to that the G-House party banger vibe calling out to all bitches, Bitch! Next up we have another Killer collaboration between Vintage & theDuo in Everday, super killin’ it G-House with a very well known vocal acapella bringing the cheek and song alive. Perfect matching bass and synths finish this stormer off. Finally we have a Vintage Culture original with Night Workers, which takes a chance with the classic old school rap vocals from that early 80’s era! We don’t need to introduce the Mexican producer based in London, we just tell you, that the sun is back with these sounds coming up in April. "Phobik" is mystic and wide open - a real summer track without redunant parts. You’ll simply get lost during the break and you’ll need a deep breath after it. Be prepared, "Botox" isn’t that circumspect. It is minimalistic and straight in the beginning but after a few seconds you are back in the good old times of Techno. Less light, more night. The track reminds you of a video game sound, quick and metallic. When it stops, we have "A Long Story Short" with a bleeping start and a warm melody combined with techy synths and a dark backdrop. It’s like a chemical reaction - not easy to get out of your mind and your body. So, that is what we call magic - simply infecting.

Soulfooled, lovingly curated since its inception in 2010 by the outstanding German producer & DJ, Alex Niggemann, has steadily established itself as a crucial platform for fresh talent. The label’s focus is always on sonic innovation and search- ing out unfailingly original musical gems, and, in the process, developing its own distinctive brand of music.
Alex Niggemann’s impressive A&R skills were once again highlighted when Dresden’s enigmatic Felkon, released his excellent, mind-bending debut track (“Creixell”) on last sum- mer’s “Soulfooled Cribs Vol.2 EP” (the second instalment of the exciting format that brings the ever-evolving Soulfooled family together). The resulting furore has now led to Felkon returning with a trio of absolutely stunning creations for his “Cry Wolf” EP.
The pulsating, infectiously percussive “Cry Wolf” opens pro- ceedings, layered with super-seductive ebbing and  owing melodic waves, and building towards a plateau of beauti- fully subtle, scarily spooky energy. Meanwhile, the equally engrossing “Eos” has its own distinct identity, pirouetting majestically around another masterclass of subtle, melodic, rhythmic beauty.
“Selene” expands the theme of melody within rhythm even further, with its gorgeous, heart-melting motifs. A wonderful hint of melancholic re ection, serves to create an atmosphere for the track that renders it in one’s subconscious way after its  nal notes have faded from the speakers.
As a teenager Felkon got his  rst experience of being on stage with “Die Pilger”, a fun punk band from his hometown of Dresden, Germany. After the band broke up in 2010, he took his  rst steps into the world of producing electronic music, a process that has evolved to now also playing live sets and DJ sets throughout Europe. Having previously released the “Sunset Stories EP” (Blossom Kollektiv) and the aforementioned “Creixell” (Soulfooled), his new “Cry Wolf” will surely mark Felkon out as major new talent to watch
out for throughout 2016 and beyond, proving what a great discovery he is.
With an ever-growing family of superb artists in their “crib” and stunning releases like this on the agenda, Soulfooled continues to grow into one of the  nest labels around.

Poker Flat Recordings welcome Raha Medzhidov to the stable for this exceptional package. Monoplay is Raha’s new project, and the Russian producer follows up a run of great projects on labels such as ITech Sound System, Kommunity and Human Resourses with another key release. The result is 'Anymore' - five tracks of deep, techy house music. The title track is here in three versions – the original sees Monoplay find a dark, infectious groove via his signature interplay of percussive elements, echo drenched synths and superb vocals by Raha himself. 

The instrumental version is also included, alongside a killer remix by Manuel Tur. Even more stripped down, Tur’s reworking of 'Anymore' is a sleek and deadly weapon sure to cause damage on many dancefloors this year.

'I Was' is a little lighter in vibe yet just as effective - a slinky rhythm and a thick, warm bass accompany Raha’s distinctive vocals.

'I Was' as an instrumental version is available in selected stores.

Sometimes it's hard to find the right words. 

Words or phrases not only change their meanings over time, but can also differ depending on how we interpret them. We all have our own realities. We don't see things as they are, we see things as we are.

Malbetrieb (@malbetrieb) lets his music do the talking, never losing the thread, letting emotions be his guide. His instinctive approach recently rewarded him with his first full length album ‘Life in the Clouds’, featuring remixes by Sebastian Mullaert, followed up by 'Nim' on SoHaSo, 'Epic' on Chapter 24's first Seven Stories VA, and a remix of Sebastian Mullaert's 'Movement' - coming out on Kontra-Musik - scheduled for late 2016.

For his first EP on Chapter 24, he presents a collection of tracks he made in one take, in the throes of inspiration. The productions are exclusively made on hardware, using a computer only to record the stems. They are captivating and communicative, both raw and refined. 

‘Keely’ is up next, decidedly more calm and collected. Elegantly restrained, it’s a classy techno cut which maintains the rawness and some of the tension of Meun whilst being gently hypnotic.

Words, by their nature, are only a rough approximation. Music, on the other hand, is a feeling. A search for pleasure. Music melts all the separate parts of our bodies together. It takes us to a place that words alone cannot go.

Do not seek the because. Often in music, as in love, there is no because, no reason, no explanation, no solutions. And that is the greatest beauty of all.

For years Robosonic have been building a reputation as DJs for murdering dancefloors worldwide – not only playing what they really feel, but also performing their own multidimensional electronic music. Together with the Adana Twins from Hamburg they made a hot new EP on 2DIY4.

The first track is made up of melodic disco and funk inspired tunes and easy basslines which immediately bring you to the vibe of summer. The lovely Vocal adds further feelings of recklessness and freedom which will immediately get you to dance.
The second track „Barracuda“ takes a darker approach with it’s dirty bassline, still combining disco infected vocals and elements in style. It is like turning back time right into the disco- dancefloor of the 70’s!
