Frankie Knuckles. The Always Amazing Frankie Knuckles. To have him embrace this Record with his signature style was and is a treat beyond words. His SIGNATURE STYLE was Excellence. This record was an amazing gift to me. I can remember the day I recorded the Vocals at Universal Recording Studio, in Downtown Chicago. Walking in, and seeing, hearing members of the Orchestra playing on MY record. It was an out of body experience for me. Only Love got me through it, and continues to. It was only Love that gifted me to have the experience in the first place. I'm thankful to Love for Marshall Jefferson, the Producer of the record. His peaceful energy was truly a comfort to me. P.S., my last name is Rogers, not Rodgers. Lol. Hey, thanks for making available this Tribute collection of the work of Frankie Knuckles. Though his Human Experience has concluded, he is now one with Love. I'm thankful to Love that, through recorded sound, the music embraces us forever. Wishing Peace on every level for us all.    This Mix is Lovingly dedicated to Frankie Knuckles, a Beloved Friend, who touched my Soul & my Heart in magical ways.  His Sensuality, his Sensibility, his Elegance, his Soul, his Beauty, his Sweetness, his Smartness, his Brightness, his Kindness, his Sense of Humour, his Love for Life, his Passion were in every single note of his Magnificent Music. Frankie was such a Gentleman. Moments with him were always priceless. I am so lucky to have met such a Wonderful  & Dazzling Person in my life. Things won't be the same anymore...  
   His influence on House Music and people was profound all around the world. I have been playing his Music for 25 years, The Def Mix Sound, and I shall never, ever stop playing it. It's our duty to Frankie to support and preserve his Legacy.
