A DJ/Producer and Electronic Music artist from Malaysia, Hrishikesh a.k.a SONORISHI is into his 3rd decade producing electronic  music. A collaboration of electronic musicians called the Spacebar Collective in the early days kick started his career in electronic music, namely the genre 'drum and bass'  as a main counterpart. Since disbandment, he is still a persistent DJ, remixer and recording engineer by profession. Occasionally, he performs his DJ sets to the masses of clubbers in this part of the world. He has also played alongside many international DJ such as the Metalheadz pioneer Goldie,  in recent times (under the Art Xtreme Media banner), Asian Dub Foundation (UK), and Konkrete Jungle (NYC), DJ turtablist Cash Money, Josh Wink, Timo Maas, Liquid People, Jon Carter, Roger Sanchez, Plastic Fantastic, Jason Ellis and Pete Gooding of Positiva. Some of his early productions have been features in compilation which featured names such as SUV and Utah
Jazz.

All tracks are original and complete music compositions. Collaborations with record labels, musician, vocalist will be aforementioned.

Joey's journey in the world of music began as a teenager in London when he learned the art of deejaying. He didn't waste any time before leaving his mark in Kuala Lumpur (KL). With residencies at iconic city clubs like The Clubhouse, Twelve SI,and Zouk KL Joey showcased his remarkable console skills and an intuitive knack for tapping into the musical preferences of club-goers, earning him widespread recognition.

Joey's ascent in KL reached new heights when he secured a role as a TV Presenter with Channel V International, captivating an adoring audience of approximately 100 million viewers across Asia. The Joey G brand had unmistakably arrived.

Following his Channel V stardom, he charged ahead with his next venture, teaming up with the unique Bo Amir Iqram, also known as MR Fluff, to form the dynamic duo known as CosmicSpaceMunkys. Their collaboration hit the jackpot, winning the prestigious 2006 Heineken Thirst Studio competition and subsequently opening doors to work with renowned producer Paul Epworth.

The following year, the duo embarked on a thrilling adventure in Las Vegas, sharing the stage with luminaries like Kanye West and Gym Class Heroes at Tao. Subsequently, CosmicSpaceMunkys took a break, and Joey G ventured into another new endeavor.

In late 2007, Joey introduced Soundbox Sdn Bhd, venturing into event organization, and passionately steering the Malaysian event and entertainment scene to greater heights. Even with a thriving company under his belt, Joey's relentless spirit led him to join the newly established radio station, Capital FM, in 2008. Unsurprisingly, he became one of its leading stars, co-hosting the electrifying, all-dance show "Turn It Up" alongside DJ Gabriel, which quickly became Malaysia's most popular dance music show.

Joey G's work ethic knows no bounds, and he wears many hats, not just as a deejay but also as an accomplished emcee and host, having successfully presided over nearly 200 events.

Recognized for his unique talents and contributions, Joey G has been featured in several prominent Malaysian publications, including The Sun, The New Straits Times, JUICE, The Star, Men's Health, Newman, Homme, and more. His enduring dedication and multifaceted talents have solidified his place as a luminary in the Malaysian entertainment and music industry.
