On hearing Troye’s track, ‘Wild’ for the first time, I instantly fell in love with the vocals and I immediately saw the potential for this remix. I really wanted to capture the power and emotion of his voice whilst adding a more melodically driven, upbeat emphasis to the song. I think this song takes my sound in a slightly new direction with more prominence on catchy piano riffs and deep house influences while still retaining the characteristics of the ‘Hibell’ sound.

Jun Kamoda is a producer, DJ and MC from Tokyo. New to the label but a friend of the party, Jun came to Mister Sunday in NYC last year and ended up hanging around for a few days afterward, digging for records and sharing bowls of spaghetti with the boys.

When he returned to Japan, he got to working on the music we now present to you on The Clay EP. This is Jun blending loopy, psychedelic disco stylings with chugging drum work for three party-ready cuts.
