Mike started his musical career playing trumpet in funk band Smit Haus with Bass player Tad Kinchla of Blues Traveller and drummer Brian Griffin of The Black Crowes in NYC. After years of playing “Funky White Boy” so many times that he thought perhaps he was actually stuck in a torturous purgatory, his days of funky horn lines finally ended. He put the horn down and vowed he would only play music for fun and enjoyment. Eventually he purchased a Nord lead synth and began playing synth with fellow Berklee alumni, Canadian singer songwriter Jay Hodgson, in Jays band Wormwood Jagger. Following the break up of Wormwood Jagger and a musical hiatus, Mike fished the MC909 sequencer of his youth out of his closet. It was a musical resurgence that brought Mike the creative musical outlet that he desperately needed. Mike partnered up with producer Jason Loewenstein from Sebadoh on debut album "Rock The Mic" which is scheduled for release on most platforms October 7 2022.

Born as a soft loaf in the mountains of Mordor. He was thrown into the fires of hell and reemerged as the man named TOAST. Crunchy highs and distorted bass take centre stage as he sets on his conquest to murder the sub woofers and take the sound guy hostage. A true natural disaster in the form of music. Garient is a indie Singer-songwriter/Producer based in the UK. He as many strings to his bow and is able to produce/create in different styles. Now working on his 5th Album this is proving to be his most soulful work yet. Garient has gained publishing contracts, appeared on radio/TV  and compilation albums world wide. Aswell as music he is also perusing a acting career.
