A podcast and/or a visual rap album has been in the making since Jazmine and Amber first met each other. Amber fucked around and went viral for letting Black men know that Black women owe them nothing while on the Roland Martin show. So here we are: Amber (the High Priestess of Black Joy) and Jazmine (King of da South) are two petty AF Black feminists who are determined to get on WorldStarHipHop one way or the other. Each week they overcome fuckboys, Becky, hoteps, and dry skin to spit hot fire on pop culture, politics and worship anything Black women have going on.

Dropping on December 24th, 2012, "Reset," is the first official beat-tape from Upstate NY producer and rapper Sammus. Conceived out of a period of mourning following the loss of her entire catalog of music via a hard-drive accident, "Reset" serves as a nod back to Sammus' roots as an electro-hip hop influenced producer and video game music lover. The production on "Reset," will be streamable for free via sammusmusic.com, bandcamp and soundcloud and will later serve as the instrumentals for her currently-untitled second album, which will be released in 2013. 

After dropping her next album, all beats will be released for free.

Her production is characterized by her use of uniquely chopped samples, and video game-like synths that are often contrasted with dirtier bass lines. She has been called a “20-credit” rapper because of her smart lyrics, diverse subject matter and versatile flow. As her Metroid-inspired name reflects, it is her hope that listeners and future fans will be pleasantly surprised by the contrast between the person society says she should be as an artist and who she actually is.
