The reason I decided to name this mixtape "October Skies" is because the fall is my favorite season. For some reason I just have the most vidid memories and great experiences during the fall. One morning around 4 AM i was looking up at the stars and thought I want to create a project that captures the feeling that I felt. This mixtape is my attempt, I hope you all enjoy it! The video touches on the whole idea of the WATA EP. The idea that you paint the reality you live, through what ever paintbrush you choose to hold. The paintbrush being your passion, whatever that may be. The idea of you being the artist also means that no matter what's going on in life, you paint the perception of what's going on in your own mind. Meaning you can look at things as optimistically or pessimistically as you decide, you can be your own worst enemy or your own best friend. The video also touches on my journey in music, being rejected by venues trying to hand my tape to them then deciding that being in the small town I'm from that the internet was the best way for me to create an audience and share my voice and music with the world. The video also includes Craig (who produced this track) and shows (through the cannon scene and the cafe scene) how he helped propel the music to the level its at today through his incredible production skills and mix/master know how. 

I also live and have been making my music from a town called Jackson Hole right outside Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Park hence the mountain influence, geyser and morning glory pool. This will be my last project created in my hometown before I move to Seattle so i wanted to represent it in this video, both visually and lyrically. 

I hope you all enjoy it! The video was directed by me and came to life through the animation company "Animatzione" Produced by the incredible Craig McAllister who handled most of the production on the EP.
