Dreamy and slightly off kilter electro outfit WhipperSnipper from Melbourne, Australia have just completed a five track EP. Think a combo of Cocteau Twins, Angelo Badalamenti, New Order and Broadcast. Monnie Stern brings a sultry yet slightly tortured vocal supported by great vintage Roland keyboard sounds, chorus pedal guitars, bass, drums and electronic beats. Whilst often dark and unhinged you get the feeling there is a firm tongue in cheek underbelly. Whippet and Snippet play all other instruments.
