Midas Touch Recordings is a new platform dedicated to pushing forward thinking music mainly within the drum and bass field. Founded in 2020 by Belgian DJ’s and producers SVB and Scepticz, two friends who share the love for drum and bass music. Knowing each other for many years already, they decided to discuss
an idea one evening and it didn’t took long before the entire concept of the label was born. The story of king Midas, turning everything in to gold with a single touch, that was it! This you will see and hear in everything Midas Touch related.
As a newcomer in the scene, they already received support by Noisia, DJ Marky, Doc Scott, John B, Mako, Icicle, Amoss, Arkaik, Ill Truth, Quadrant & Iris, Kolectiv and more. Bringing a mix of deep, dark
minimal beats with clean drum work and raw basses, It will not take long before they put their mark on the scene!

Adelaide born, now Bristol based, missledz relocated to the UK in 2017 with an intention to immerse herself in the rich music culture for which it is renowned.  With a reputation for eclectic, energetic and technical DJ sets, she has played at institutions such as 02 Academy Bristol, Cross Club, The Volks, Steelyard, Thekla, Purple Turtle, Wigwam and more.

missledz has released on SINE Audio, Rebel Music, Bowlcut Beats, Lifestyle Music, Boey Audio, Drum Army, Noxious Records and more.  Her tracks have received support from artists such as René Lavice, Fre4knc, Quadrant & Iris, Revaux, Dilemma, and Charli Brix, and several of these have notably received airplay on René’s BBC Radio 1 show, on which she has also had two guest mixes.

missledz was involved in the inaugural Dub Wars production battle and is a resident for Bristol collectives Rotations, Concrete Jungyals and Goat Shed.

I had the honour of opening for Delta Heavy in Brisbane last night (30.4.23). I wanted to play a set of deep dnb - highlighting both the beautiful and ugly sides of the genre, whilst at the same time gradually increasing the energy and getting the dance floor ready for the main support acts. I'm so happy with how this set went down, and genuinely love opening up a rave. I hope you enjoy the mix as much as I did making it.
