"Blurring the line between music and sound design."

What do you get when you take two theatrical lead vocalists,  a keyboard player from Juilliard, a musical savant playing guitar, and a drummer with progressive rock in his DNA?  The new modern ProgRock band Circuline.

Performing original and classic progressive rock, Circuline was founded in 2014 when former progressive rock tribute band Downing Grey members  Andrew Colyer (keyboards, vocals), Bill Shannon (guitars, vocals), and Darin Brannon (drums, percussion) had a burning desire to write original material.  Lead vocalists Billy Spillane and Natalie Brown were up for the challenge, having performed in countless venues as singers, actors, dancers, and rock musicians.  Paul Ranieri (Mark Wood Rock Orchestra) is the new bassist in the band.

Circuline's first album "Return" was released on the Inner Nova label in April 2015, and the band's second album, "Counterpoint" will be released in April 2016.

My music tells stories without words—rooted in emotion, shaped by melancholy, quiet strength, and cinematic depth.
With piano, strings, understated electronics, and expressive vocals, I craft soundscapes that move you and leave space for your own thoughts.

Every piece is handcrafted: I write, arrange, and produce using professional virtual instruments and real elements.
I work with Spitfire Audio, Virharmonic, Kirk Hunter Studios, Native Instruments, EastWest, and 8Dio, combined with my own recording and sound-design workflow.

I use voice synthesis (ACE Studio) only in rare cases—specifically when no suitable singer can be found.
Whenever synthesis is used, I state it clearly in the track description.
It’s a subtle color, never a substitute for composition or expression, and always within a framework I fully compose myself.

The creative vision, the musical structure, and the emotion are 100% mine.
I believe in music that sounds real—because it is real.
