Composer, musician, producer, sounddesigner from Germany nowadays mainly working in the genres of orchestral and chamber music, film and theatre music, sound design, live-electronics and production music.

I'm using Soundcloud mainly as a backend for my websites patchpool.net and absynthsounds.com where I offer plenty of patches, samples and audio files for music and sound design production, so you will find thousands of demos here. Ambient listening: Eno, Stars of the Lid, Brian McBride, Adam Wiltzie, The Dead Texan, Christina Vantzou, Lawrence English, Kyle Bobby Dunn, some dark ambient and many others.

I like to discover and get inspired by music from other -non professional- artists in this genre. 

When not on Soundcloud I listen to ambient, classical music (almost everything from Bach to Ligeti), post-punk (played in a few bands in the eighties), post-rock, alternative rock, progressive rock, electronic (mainly Autechre, Boards of Canada) and lots of other stuff... (new-age not allowed in my house).

Mark Spalding is a musician and visual arts worker resident in rural Angus near Arbroath,Scotland,U.K. As a performer his principal instruments are organ and piano: his repertoire extends from the middle ages to the present day.
 In recent years  he has taken a particular interest in the work of the Arbroath-born composerMorris Pert:(www.morrispert.com) having invited several other composers to write pieces in his memory.
 The harpsichord items were recorded on the fine instrument in the Wighton Heritage Centre in the Wellgate Library,Dundee, Scotland on my occasional visits to help tune, maintain,play and generally stave off neglect and deterioration.
 In 2015, he performed Stockhausen's Tierkreis(signs of the zodiac)throughout the year in commemoration of the 40th anniversary of its composition. He also founded the Intuitive Music ensemble Mars in Aquarius. in 2016 he was appointed organist at Barry Parish church (Church of Scotland), Carnoustie.
