An electronic version of a short piece I wrote for the Hamburger Symphoniker orchestra, performed live in 2012, re-edited for this version in 2016.

Verwehtes Feld - Electronic Version

Composer, musician, producer, sounddesigner from Germany nowadays mainly working in the genres of orchestral and chamber music, film and theatre music, sound design, live-electronics and production music.

I'm using Soundcloud mainly as a backend for my websites patchpool.net and absynthsounds.com where I offer plenty of patches, samples and audio files for music and sound design production, so you will find thousands of demos here. I have lived in Richmond, VA since 1972 when I moved to attend Virginia Commonwealth University as a Acting Major. While there I stayed active with music playing with various musician/songwriters and especially at the Crossroads Coffee House on Franklin Street. I was fortunate in those years to know Richard Leigh ( He wrote "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue" - a hit for Crystal Gayle among many others). I study with Harriet Schock, who wrote "Ain't No Way to Treat a Lady", hit for Helen Reddy, and am proud to call her my mentor. I have played in various bands, written production music & songs, am a member of ASCAP,  and am currently the President of the Virginia Organization of Composers and Lyricists - VOCAL.

Almost all tracks are free to download and covered by a Creative Commons license. Collaborations / Remixes are welcome so feel free to experiment - no need to get my permission first. Just send me a link to your track when you're done :)

I love listening to & creating ambient, dark ambient, avant-garde & experimental electronica (and the occasional beatscape). I have no professional aspirations  - I just really like creating music / manipulating sounds. It's my way of relaxing after a hard day at the office. All my tracks are produced using monitoring headphones (Audix A140) so I recommend that you listen to my music through headphones. My DAW of choice is FL Studio. I also use Reason every now & then. 


To the artists I follow; I do my best to try to listen to as many of your tracks as possible each night (I listen to each track all the way through - you went through the effort to create a track so you deserve to have it heard in full). If I miss a recent upload of yours, please forgive me...
