In 1994 then 1995, Daddy Lord dropped two bombs on us on the Arsenal Records label. Through Les Jaloux and Freaky Flow he demonstrates all his talents as a rapper. His villainous flow à la Das Efx mixes with an undeniable quality of writing: images, metaphors, storytelling and alliterations follow one another against a backdrop of cryptic language and argomuche.

Bien sûr nous adorons l'humour British! Ce film nous a fait marrer et nous a donc inspirés. Descente de flic en plein tournage, un agent de police déclare "alright that's enough" et casse la caméra. Ecran noir et musique pour le générique de fin. Retour du thème joué à l'orgue, précédemment entendu dans le film.Monty Python in full effect!


Sure, we love British humor! This movie made us laugh and inspired us. During a police raid in the middle of the shoot, a police officer says, "alright, that's enough" and breaks the camera. The screen goes black, and music plays for the credits. Then, the theme previously heard in the film returns, played on the organ. Monty Python in full effect!

Cette version a été réalisée dans le cadre d’un remix contest organisé par le label Little Bit More autour du titre "Bungalow Breeze", morceau original de Il Mario en collaboration avec la rappeuse Tiff The Gift. Ce remix, signé Sample et Funky, a remporté la première place du concours.

Le scratch fait partie de l'ADN de Sample & Funky. On est de l'ancienne école, dans un morceau de rap faut du scratch. Ça parait désuet mais c'est un choix que l'on fait. A l'époque dans un album de rap il y avait toujours "le" morceau consacré au Dj et à ses prouesses techniques. On fait honneur à la tradition, avec la participation d'Arcade Maker et de Dj O'legg, merci à eux! Que ça soit dans la rue ou sur des platines, ça reste vrai, "Jeu de mains... jeu de vilains
