20.3.2020 / Moskalus is cult name of internet lo-fi house scene. Since 2014 he runs youtube channel, where he tirelessly supports the names of global house community and which gained so significant influence over time, that it helped to spread knowledge of this specific sound between massive numbers of listeners. Marek started as a maker of video clips. First achievement was visual for the Bambounou on 50 Weapons, then collaboration with artists from labels like Shall Not Fade or Lobster Theremin. The decision to get behind the mix and to spread his vision came later as the next level  of the whole process. His guest mixes are released on platforms like South Korean Seoul Community Radio, Analog Advisory, welofi or Blaq Numbers. In present he also runs regular shows for London´s Threads Radio. Od roku 2014 vede YT kanál, kde neúnavně supportuje jména z globální house komunity a který časem získal natolik výrazný vliv, že pomohl rozšířit povědomí o tomhle specifickém soundu mezi obrovské množství posluchačů. Marek nejprve začínal jako tvůrce klipů. První solidní zásek byl vizuál pro Bambounou na značce 50 Weapons, následuje spolupráce s umělci z labelů jako Shall Not Fade nebo Lobster Theremin. Rozhodnutí stoupnout si za mix a šířit svou vizi přišlo časem jako vyústění přechodu na vyšší úroveň celého procesu. Brighton’s Rikki Van Berkel, known amongst the club scene as Drumwork, has established a name for himself with his ability to bring huge energy in his production and mixes through the channel of UK Funky, with a preference for intricate yet explosive percussive productions. 

With his debut release on Plaza, he takes that energy into a different domain, by stripping back his usual style of bass-heavy, world-influenced bangers and instead drenching two tracks in stunning atmospherics and beautiful harmonic textures. Don’t Wait and The Rain fit perfectly into Plaza’s style of music for both the club and home-listening, without compromising on Drumwork’s percussive energy.

With DJ support from the likes of Skream and radio airplay on Rinse and Reprezent, it’s fair to say that Drumwork is one to watch, and this upcoming release is more than a testament to that.

UK based producer Hugo Massien has been slowly but surely making a name for himself over the past few years. Metamorphosis marks Hugo’s debut LP on the E-Beamz Record label.

Having first released in 2014 he quickly built a legion of fans who absolutely loved his bass heavy breaks, sometimes wonky beats, trance rave, and acid tinged sound. By 2018 he had released a winning string of EPs on various imprints including XL Recordings, Keysound, 17 Steps, Unknown to the Unknown and of course E-Beamz.

He now drops his debut album Metamorphosis which brings together all the best elements of Hugo’s creativity into one cohesive release.
