me and my best buddy ever wrote this song during a sleep over last night.

we hope you like it guys. We spent over an hour creating it.

Lyrics:

a theory about a theory that make too much sense.
about distractions of a dollar and how were losing interest.
how nothings like it used to be, shipping labor over seas
claiming things as property, how this world has got to be
how democrats are twisted and how republicans are twisted
and if what they said made any sense then he must have fucking missed it.

he ignores the politician, makes his way across the kitchen
he's almost had enough with all the missing out on life.

but he came for a reason, and he knows when he's leaving
he'll have talked his way into a bed with someone for the night.

not sure if i am losing sleep or been awake too many days
so i hum to floor boards as they creak and count the steps i take 
while i pace im barely keeping track of where i want to be
but where i want to be was barely worth the air i use to breathe
so hows it seem that it could possibly be worth a second thought
a second chance at what i am or anything i thought to want.
the temperature can kill somebody like me from the inside out
its too hot or too cold, its feast or famine, flood or drout.
over abundance of a feeling that i can never seem to shake
so i hold my head hung low on day s like this and hope that they will fade
cause feelings pass, they always have, not a thing we do is permanent.
were are barely a moment, we are scribbled names in wet cement.

lets take the moment, play pretend.. lets be the dreams inside our heads.
are you what y ou were when you were young? what it was that you had plans to be? 
im not, but at least i can say these days im am remembering.

this is a really deep and meaningful song i did with a friend of mine who managed to overcome an addiction. although i can't relate to having an addiction to any type of drug i can relate to being in a bad situation and going through struggles and wanting to change for the better and turn your life around. that's what this song is all about. being at rock bottom and overcoming the struggle. the beat was produced by Dave Nikish who also had a hand in the mixing and mastering as well.
