Born from eponymous LYL’s radioshow, Feng Shit Records becomes Décalé’s sublabel for new imprints and scattered directions: a balanced perception between softening aural breeze and spiritual dance substrate.

Castalia Drops delivers a futuristic testament to club / no-club music, rooted in melancholy, and inspired by the fountain of Castalia, whose waters promise poetic creation to all those who drink from it or listen to its murmur. 14 tracks from forewarned visionaries (Epsilove and Christian Coiffure); the freshly illuminated (OKO DJ, Dhakira, Explorations Silencieuses); an ode to aural breezes (Eiger Drums Propaganda, Aloe, AM Khamsaa); psychedelics rituals (Gavr, One Foot Step & Nitrate); and spiritual dance substrates (Tai Rona, 808Hz, Yolek, Antoine).

The 4-sided insert contains inspirational texts and poems provided by some of the artists in their languages of preference like Romanche and Hungarian, among others.

We sampled an Oberheim synth a few years ago, and Nico made a beautiful demo for it, using the samples. In fact, I loved it so much that I wanted to create an original piece of music for it - so I ran bits and pieces of the demo out into an Echoplex, and an Otari reel to reel, and then sent the returns of those tracks back into the tape machines, creating feedback loops. I then took those feedback loops and put them back through the tape machines!

Sanel’s Loco Sharky EP is full of slippy and neatly tunes. Its title track, „Loco Sharky“, has something of a joyful club anthem without any kitschy component to it.
