My Dad passed in the Summer of 2022. I wrote this for his 92nd Birthday. He truly was a special Man. He along with my Mom built an enormous Family of Love! This is to honor their memory.

Here's to the man
from your biggest fan.
Here's to your life.
From the darkness came light.

So many souls
with so disparate goals
exist cause of you.
Because You and Mom knew.

So... here today
We celebrate the life you led
in words we long to say.

Thru...those many years.
Was love that poured while families soared
with joy and happy tears.

Here's to the man.
The head of our clan.
And here's to his wife
With their love gave it life.

Here's to the ones.
The Daughters and Sons.
We salute what you've done.
Thankful to the last one.

There....in our hearts
A memory of life so grand
We cherish every part.

So....here today
We bow our heads and thank the Lord
that you were sent our way.

Like a work of art
you focused on each part
and let us look into your heart

I thank the Lord
For the gift of Mom and you
like an arrow straight and true

So very glad
it was you who was my Dad.
The very best is what I had

When I came back to the UK in the mid 2000’s , as a DJ I was a bit lost. My sound ( Hard House) had fallen off the radar and Techno was like the old uncle at a wedding that everyone liked but did not want to dance with. 

I went record shopping one day and discovered Meat Katie and what at the time was called Progressive Break Beat. 

My DJ juices had an outlet and I devoured this sound for a good few years and to this day still think a lot of that sound would still stand up on most under ground dance floors. 

Nothing but Kill is a testament to that genre but with a happier vibe that contradicts the vocal completely.  It’s a proggy break beat feast of up lifting and at times slightly strange dance floor friendly beats. I love this record even though in theory none of the parts should be put together.
