Polish producer Rita Raga unveils her brand-new 4-track EP on Altar Records, weaving a luminous journey through sound, emotion, and cultural fusion. Known for her vocals and her ethereal approach to psychill and downtempo compositions, Rita here expands her palette with inspired collaborations.

From Serbia, Mina contributes not only her melodic sensibility but also synth work and detailed mixing, adding refinement and depth to Rita’s lush arrangements. Hoova, hailing from Mexico, brings his own sonic imprint to the project, infusing rhythms and atmospheres that enrich the EP with organic warmth and cross-border resonance.

LA based singer/songwriter Miki Rose & Brighton based producer El. Train come together to deliver their five track EP 'Over & Over.' They first collaborated on the track 'Control' back in January for El. Train's 'Somewhere Between' EP. Whilst Miki was in the UK in May the two decided to get in the studio to record some music and they managed to flesh out 4 or 5 demos in a day. A couple of months sending files back and forth over the Internet and they finally managed to settle on five tracks that would form the basis of the EP.

DIY disco trio Patawawa are back with 'Fight Me', their first proper single since their debut EP, released in January, which saw the band tipped by the likes of NME, The Line of Best Fit, DIY, Clash, top the Hype Machine charts for over 5 days and earn support from the likes of Tom Robinson and Lauren Laverne on BBC 6 Music & plays on Radio 1 with Huw Stephens.

Much like their EP's lead track 'Patagonia' which hid a song about anxiety inside an upbeat glitter dusted disco number, 'Fight Me' similarly smuggles a song about fighting addiction into what, at first, appears to be a love song set to massive synth riff, a party starting beat and impossible to not sing-along chorus.

Determined to show that you can both tackle serious issues whilst making the kind of music that is almost impossible not to dance to, the band's critical acclaim and increasingly busy tour schedule would suggest that it's a trick they are currently pulling off with some style.

Having earned comparisons to a bewildering array of other artists from Chic to Madonna, Two Door Cinema Club to Foals, 'Fight Me' sees Beth, Rory and Sam further refine and define their own sound and in the process cement their position as one of the most exciting new acts around in 2018.

The kind of band that can look at the reflections of car lights in the puddles of a provincial English town high street & instead see the bright lights of Downtown Manhattan, Patawawa's music provides both a commentary on and escape from a world that more often than not seems to be spinning out of control.
