Future 80's rule! One synth only in its purity. New Synthwave track made with Arturia's rendition for Buchla Easel. I think its the most processor greedy soft synth I ever played. Worth it, rich in sound and possibilities. A single, sequenced synthline, quite automated, plus Ableton on-board 707 drum track. But lots going on inside the tool. Internal sequence is driven by a midi track as well. Only some FabFilter reverb applied, in places. And UAD Tube 610B, UAD 1176 for more analogue atmos. Mastered in Ableton Live with IK Multimedia and FabFilter tools. Had lotsa fun playing it. Hope you enjoy Synth-Meditative journey. TNX! 

P.S. This kind of flow, playing one (or two) hardware or software synths, tweaking and vibing, is the most fun for me lately. Because of the busy times - yes, but can do this for hours, days, years. Hope you find opportunities to connect with your creative side. Stay inspired!

Jamn' my Fender Strat the other day, found some nice chords progression. Built something around it same day, using LogicX on Mac. Unrefined and unpolished playing, guys. Layered bass, rhythm and played impromptu solo over. I dug up the rack from a hard-drive, so this couple years recording comes as-is, no refinments. Contains pure inspiration with the mistakes provided :)   Juss having some fun...  :D

Sam Prock - Out Of Blue (Open Collab Invite)

One of the Prock Rock electronic and guitar creatures for Flower Power album, made with Prockgressive improvs, usually featuring guitar improv or one take noodle. This track apparently has no guitar, though exactly capture one session inspiration, played with instrument called iPad :) All made  in my favorite Korg Gadget app. Indeed this creative app (DAW) has lively and solid sounding tools for session drums and twangy bass-guitars. 

Cover art is a GoPro shot in warm Maui waters at very empty Sugar Beach, natural preserve. 

The rule of the Flower Power release is to keep an atmosphere of original creation when Muse kissed you, so will not be adding any "real" guitar to it :) If you like to play over it PM me! I've posted this track with all stem available (free) for Open Collab, still open. Several amazing tracks came in catching same drift of improve and pleasure of music creation. Can a track do with only kick, snare, and a guitar?  In this new Fender Reprise played just recently, I wanted to enjoy the purity of clear tones and sonority and space in between them, hope you enjoy :)

I like the goings and would only play some Floydish and JMJ like synths far in the depth. But only to enhance the feel. Also played lots with NI Replika Reverb and Ableton Echo here. One special is classy green Tape Delay from IK Multimedia, liking the tool very much.

Fun free 80's spirit session with Cubasis on iPad. Model D by Moog, iSem by Arturia, Kauldron by Yonac, Syntronik by IK Multimedia, LD2 Classic Drums Machines by Steinberg. Those are good synth and some work now as Audio-Unit (embedded into Cubasis, not only connected as Inter-App).

Crazy experimental, you've been warned!  :)

What can be done if you have just one note to play around with? I imagine drones revving over your head (friendly drones).  Caveat, for synthesizers enthusiasts, The whole thing drones on note B, while I was tweaking this huge, luxurious Moog filter and other on my Subsequent 37 CV. I was just having fun exploring the analog vibe, my usual meditation routine, and pressed the record button.  Hope you find it Moogalicious :)

If you feel so, grab any of bits from the longer 12 minute Moog stem on the link. Original, unprocessed and raw, 118Bpm. Slice and dice it to samples, re-tune or else to add some analog drift and twangs to your production.

This is what I played on Maui. Hope it could pass along the island atmos and underwaters vibe. Did not try to replicate it though, it just came out.  100% Korg Gadget app driven by OP-Z by Teenage Engineering (no wires, midi goes over bluetooth). Unrefined, unmastered, direct upload from iPad micro-studio based on lanai somewhere on Maui. Aloha!
