Jamn' my Fender Strat the other day, found some nice chords progression. Built something around it same day, using LogicX on Mac. Unrefined and unpolished playing, guys. Layered bass, rhythm and played impromptu solo over. I dug up the rack from a hard-drive, so this couple years recording comes as-is, no refinments. Contains pure inspiration with the mistakes provided :)   Juss having some fun...  :D

I grabbed kick and snare, tweaked bass synth for a jamming in Korg Gadget app on iPhone 6s. My Depeche Mode piece of DNA turned the thing into a session of interpretation for “I See You” too fast. I noticed the hook turns alike this fab song from my fav 1982 album “A Broken Frame”. I submit and had a blast!

100% organic Korg Gadget sound. Literally two lines. Drum and Bass (but not that DnB one). First is drum machine spirited beats, London. Second bad ass bass from gadget Dublin. Single bass track because synth notes choke and fight each other this way. Small post treatment in Ableton Live 9.7 for more fun. British and White Channel compressors by IK Multimedia. T-Racks Classic EQ, Plate and Hall Reverb CSR, Quad Image IK tools. Automated.

In childhood we were watching thru the stars with my school bud. Exiting atmosphere, riding deep and cold vacuum (and I don't mean a vacuum cleaner :) ... mentally expanding our presence to far outer-space. Until  rock comes up to your throat. Thinking, - How huge the whole thing is?

This track is dedicated to our cat Max 🐱  Real hunter, half stray/ferret cat, brave character. We did not buy or adopt him. Young fella adopted us, coming one time to stay for good. Cleaned two blocks around which is all his territory now. He lost left eye in his streets battles last year. Now looks around even when eats from his bowl. Cat's life ain't easy.... :)

Beat and synth played with Native Instruments iMashine2 4-track iPad app by taping on iPad surface. Plus my Yamaha bass and Fender Stratocaster for lead and licks. Recorded directly with Maschine MK3. The guitar effect if reversing guitar samples directly in Ableton, though I like jamn with reverse delay (like one can be found in Korg Gadget on iPad). The rest of prod and mastering is done in Ableton Live 10. Thanks for your support!   

The cover art is the portrait of a Big Green turtle who was chilling on a Island of Maui (Canon Rebel T4i, f/8, 1/400sec, ISO-100, 124mm. Lens Canon EF-S 18-135mm 1:3.5-5.6 IS USM).

This is my 4th year ADAM Audio Soundtrack submission. I am loving to play to for the challenge very much. You got only 30 seconds to fully express what you see on a photo. This year photo is by Tobias Zielony “The Opening”, 2005, which “Premonition” soundtrack hopefully completes and conveys the story this reflective photography work got the mind into.

First, I got the chords progression and invisible grooves to heartbeat at my favorite 102npm. Next, played lots on two dozens of synthesizers (fun!). Although it lets to assume it is all ARPing and sequencing (which is all good to use of course) I played bass and synth lines by hand on iPad surface or Moog keys and/or edited jewels note-by-note, locating them in stereo, octave, EQ space. 

Starting from Cubasis DAW on iPad, prockjet traveled to Ableton Live for more sound and mixing. The following iPad synths were involved (by not harmed :): Moog 15, ModelD by Moog, iSEM by Arturia, several classics from Syntronik collection by IK Multimedia. Then back to iPad recording live knobs twisting on physical Moog Subsequent 37 CV (connected directly to iPad with PreSonus interface). Mastered in Ableton with IK, Live, NI tools. It was phunn! 

Lotsa happening in 30 seconds, hope it hooks you up. Hope you enjoy the layers of waves and grooves of vibes! Wish you may new openings in what you do and best premonition experiences leading to all good! :)

Usually i post fresh improv, faster made tune. This one is different. Two years of mixing, mastering, getting dozens of basslines bumping to each other in a slo-mo Pogo dance. Had a blast producing it in Ableton with Arturia synths and IK Multimedia tools. 

Having said that, thats a rule, Fender Strat tipsy guitar noodle improv comes almost as-is, as it happened one good day. You can spend endless time mixing, polishing, growing your skills, but if something just happened - let it be. Power of music is in the improvisation and art of impression.
