Launched in 2014 by Jimmy Asquith Lobster Theremin and its sub-labels as well as Lobster Theremin Distribution have become a synonym for quality electronic music and a playground as well as get-together of artists releasing music cross-genre. Up next, but not a newcomer to the Lobster Theremin cosmos, is Colombian pace-setter Nicolas Duque with a four-tracker on LT's SITU Records, which simply goes by the name of Misdirection. Known and beloved for his melodic approach and a UKG-twist, Nicolas delivers just that with his most current release. The B1, Ting-a-ling, is built along its catchy synth-chord line in combination with Nicolas' well-known driving bass-line. The addition of cosmic soundscapes within the track rounds the it off perfectly and harmoniously leaving dancers and listeners with a feel-good-vibe.

What a beauty! We are almost at the end of this special year and we still have plenty of great music to clean your ears.
This is release number 24 for Flexi Cuts, produced by Slowaxx and Ai Lati, a multi-genre collective led by Riccardo Chiarucci that serves up a musical dish full of quality.
Funk Area EP is a cool downtempo treatment of broken, raw, dirty rhythms that are at the same time powerful and elegant. Closing the release are two remixes of a certain weight by Michael Byrne and The Mechanical Man.

Arno Gonzalez is producing a modern house sound that sometimes ventures into melodic territory close to Electronica, the Angevin artist was first spotted by the Parisian label Missive, then by Timid Records, on which he released his debut album “Encounters”, as well as a number of EPs and remixes...

Today, he is one of the spearheads and leaders of Brique Rouge, David Duriez's label, with whom he is on a mission to perpetuate and reinvent a certain vision of House and Techno music.

With this second album, which marks “the end of innocence”, Arno explodes the codes of his music to better transcend them. We find his inimitable touch, a particular sound that is sometimes minimal, sometimes warm and melodious, a real signature on 13 tracks that tell a real story.

If this is the end of innocence, it's also the beginning of maturity.




Brique Rouge label is a pillar of the French House underground since 1999.

The label continues to disseminate the electronic sound David Duriez believes in, far from formatting and excessive vulgarity. An eclectic electronic sound that remains rooted in the underground and on vibe above all. Sebastian Gummersbach is set to release a new EP on Mauke Signature, a brooding EP packed with high paced energy and dancefloor design. This was our favourite, big room house with a euphoric radiance and deep message.

Sam Ruffillo is an Italian DJ, producer, studio wizard, and a key artist of the Berlin label Toy Tonics.
