As we celebrate our birthday this month, we keep APECAST within the close family. So this week we welcome Drum & Bass dynamo and local talent Nectax. 

The D&B community has long been at the forefront of the North-East club scene and Nectax has been leading by example for some time now. After a number of heavyweight tracks out on @hospitalrecords, @ramrecords and @overviewuk, Ollie has solidified himself as one to watch. 

Nectax fuses a masterclass sound of dynamic drum patterns with high velocity D&B, Jungle and Footwork. The young, Newcastle based talent has been making move across the UK, offering his in-depth production knowledge through tuition and generally throwing himself into anything music related. We had a chat with him about his fast-paced career and influences. 

Nectax is the real drum and bass father, lock in.
