Multi-instrumentalist/producer Jeff Ponders II has captivated audiences across the world with his provocative, soulful approach to music. A native of Detroit, Michigan, his performances and recording resume includes heavyweights across many genres, including jazz giants James Carter, Robert Glasper, and Mike Phillips, R&B artists Keyshia Cole, Eric Roberson, and John Legend, and many more.  Jeff toured the country as a member of the Marvin Gaye Orchestra for the hit stage play "My Brother Marvin,” and has blazed the stage as a feature soloist in many of the great venues across North America. He is a founding member of the electrifying R&B band HotSauceMusic, and works throughout the Midwest as a jazz artist and teaching clinician. Jeff is currently recording new music for HotSauceMusic and his debut solo project.

Jeff can also be found on screen and on air, appearing in the 2012 film Sparkle, staring Jordin Sparks and Whitney Houston and as a principal actor in campaigns from McDonalds and numerous voice-over campaigns.

Sam Thousand (formally known as Sam Trump) is a multi-instrumentalist, singer/writer, producer/composer and a 3Arts Recipient with 15+ years of experience in live performance art, curation, and self management. Since picking up the trumpet at age 7, his artistry has allowed him the opportunity to perform in all corners of North America as well as overseas.

Sam Thousand has become a fixture in Chicago’s music scene through various stages from the Pritzker Pavilion at Millennium Park to a cozy nook in a low-lit speakeasy in Fulton Market. 
He has maintained years of performance residencies, and has curated special events from tributes to artist showcases. In addition to performing and curating, he has served as a booking manager to facilitate performance opportunities for other musicians. Sam Thousand is co-founder of multiple Chicago-based organizations, and is a business owner and entrepreneur. Everywhere he goes, he brings a sophistication that engages & uplifts.
