‘Tell Me Something Good’ sees the Scottish DJ/producer cover Rufus & Chaka Khan’s 70s jam of the same name, twisting catchy vocals and huge synth stabs into an ecstatic peak time club weapon. ‘Delta’ brings the tempo down, but keeps the energy levels high as piano chords drift effortlessly across a chugging breakbeat and rolling basslines, making for a feel-good closing track to another standout release from Trick.

Rilis was a label born in 1999 from master producer Rino Cerrone’s need for an outlet for his functional, floor facing productions. Phonetic for "release", Rilis is named in honour of the label’s mission, which is to release tools for DJs that make dancefloors jump. Initially intended to be a series of ten limited and untitled releases, a series of tech house loops were also released in the meantime with the category numbers 1.5 through to 10.5, and they were so well appreciated by DJs and dancers that now the label, and Rino himself, have a great reputation throughout the international scene.  Mario Manganelli now manages the label and previously a remix project involving artists who have supported the label to date won Rilis yet more acclaim. The likes of Marco Carola, Secret Cinema, Paco Osuna, Davide Squillace and many more were all involved, and nowadays Rilis is a parent label of Loose Records, Loose Club and Unrilis.

We're excited to announce a little something extra from our first vinyl release at Restless Planet. The Harrison BDP remix of an Adam Collins tune, previously an exclusive bonus for our vinyl enthusiasts, will soon be available for digital download on our Bandcamp!

This track, a prelude to an upcoming release from Adam Collins on Soft Spoken Secret, perfectly marries Adam’s immersive soundscapes with Harrison BDP’s dynamic beats. It’s a snapshot of the collaborative spirit thriving in our local underground scene.

It’s fair to say Harrison BDP is one of those rare producers that has already amassed quite the reputable back catalog in a very short space of time. Harrison BDP’s recent works in 2024, including his remixes for Luuk Van Dijk on Dansu Discs and Hessa on Cosmos, and his release on Shall Not Fade, have only strengthened our admiration for his talent. 

He’s become a go-to producer for many DJs and has been refining his sound for over 10 years. We’re continually inspired by his earlier releases like “Decompression,” known for its deep, immersive soundscapes, and “Easy Tiger,” an EP that captures his knack for minimal deep tech with smooth, rhythmic beats.

This remix is filled with tons of percussion and rhythm, pulling the listener in. The track offers undeniable grooves and is sure to be a favorite at daytime and after-hour shows alike, resonating with a vibrant energy that gets everyone moving. It showcases why Harrison BDP has become such a versatile producer, offering a new perspective on the strength of an Adam Collins stomper.
