Brayan Sanchez aka Insanity Circle hails from the city of Medellin, Colombia. He is a very talented producer who teams with vocalist Paula Gonzalez to create forward thinking electronic music. The album is both unmixed and mixed, which offers a unique listening journey from start until end.

’Route 909’ serves up emotive melodies rooted down with a heavy kick before working the keys hard to maximum effect. ‘Flyby’ is a beautiful moment of electronic bliss reminiscent of the great Aphex Twin, while the acid soaked ’1111’ is a certified dance floor bomb. Shinra isn’t adverse to switching tempos and beats and can also deliver flawless techno. The cleverly structured and melodically complex ‘On & On’ rounds up the wax with a track that makes you want to drift away on the dance-floor, prepare to be transported to a future world where machines have emotions.

Before the recent rise in '90s style psychedelic, ambient-influenced electronic music, one of the only producers offering up this kind of hallucinatory revivalism was A Sagittariun.  On the ‘Minor Malfunction’ single, the one born under the 9th sign returns to Dense & Pika’s Kneaded Pains, with a brace of linear techno jams.

The Bristol based, techno dream weaver, has always operated on the Outer Rim of the techno and electronica galaxy, but has, and remains, a sound shaper and influencer, via releases for esteemed labels such as Running Back, Idle Hands, Hypercolour, Craigie Knowes, and his own Elastic Dreams imprint.

‘Minor Malfunction’ hurls a pacey and swinging minimal techno beat high up into the stars, as a quirky and funky infusion of choppy pulses and dubbed out tones are showered in transcendental bleeps.  In contrast, ‘Heresy’ plays it straighter, but is no less deadly, as rampaging beats and ominous and apocalyptic synths & strings come crashing in like waves.
