Nadia Struiwigh is a producer, live artist, DJ and resident of Tresor.  Her music spans ambient, electro and techno and has been featured on labels like Nous’klaer Audio, Dekmantel and Central Processing Unit. In 2024 she founded the label Distorted Waves focussing on hardware-centered, more experimental works. Her DJ sets explore driving and psychedelic techno, while also delving into deeper sounds, while her live sets are known for their unique sonic improvisation. 

“An ode to the sounds and storytelling I’ll continue to explore from here on out.
After the pandemic, I felt a bit unmoored. Spending time in Australia distanced me from the European scene, and I found myself feeling quite lost. Once I returned, I initially focused on Techno, but soon realized my true foundation has always been experimental music and narrative-driven performances—whether in my own productions, live sets, or DJ sets. I’m grateful to have rediscovered my creative center, and I’m excited to share this next chapter. I’m fully back, with more jungle and ambient experimental releases on the way! Josephine’s Soundscapes es el alias de Jose Salas, creador y realizador audiovisual, director de arte y promotor de la cultura alternativa en Madrid. Con más de 20 años en la escena electrónica, ha trabajado en numerosos clubes y ha fundado plataformas y colectivos como Paraíso Madrid, CALMA o la promotora independiente a_mal_gam_a. También ha desarrollado proyectos radiofónicos como Silly Europeans y Sonda Dispersa en la emisora pública M21. Actualmente, dirige Campos de Marte, dedicado a la difusión de música experimental, y comisaria Temple, un ciclo de sesiones de escucha en Espacio Perpendicular.

Josephine’s Soundscapes conecta pasado y presente con un enfoque creativo y reflexivo. There is a big black heart in Barcelona that it is still beating. Three weeks later, we’re still digesting the magic that was the fourth edition of Mostra festival. From the most intimate listening moments to collective catharsis on the dancefloor, this year was something else.

Starting from the end this year, we’re proud to present the recorded closing set from Mostra's resident ABSIS, who delivered a deeply emotional finale that distilled everything Mostra stands for: a blend of force, finesse, energy and passion — all woven into one.

Across four editions, countless moments, different days and stages, ABSIS has always been there: reading the different dance floors, adapting, connecting the dots between sound and feelings. Being a resident is more than just playing; it’s embodying the festival’s pulse, giving it identity and continuity, and raising the collective experience to another level.

If you’ve journeyed with Mostra through the years, you know how central ABSIS (alongside Timnah and Patrick Russell) has been to shaping that Mostra spirit. If you haven’t yet, you may find the chance next year.

And now, for the first time: ABSIS closing the festival. A powerful tribute to what it means to support the local scene, not just by listing names from the city, but by creating moments like this one that matters.

MNMT Recordings : ABSIS @ Mostra closing 2025 - Barcelona

Means&3rd aka Ben Marsden joins us for episode 469 with an extensive session covering over 2 hours worth of techno territory.

The Manchester based artist can be found behind the counter at the legendary Eastern Bloc Records where he fronts the house and techno curation for the shop.  He has leveraged his exposure to the latest sounds there to promote his own Unveiled Nuance events and label as well as securing performances at events throughout the country.

Some words from Ben - 

"I aimed to create something that reflects where I am sonically right now. The aesthetic of the deeper sound has expanded so much lately, touching on all sorts of BPM's and vibes, and I've really been loving every bit of it. This music requires some patience and a commitment to fully appreciate it, which is one of the reasons it continues to captivate me so much. 

I also wanted to give a huge shout-out to all the incredible artists featured in this mix; there's so much amazing music out there right now., and a massive thank you to the Monument team as well—I'm genuinely grateful for this opportunity "

MNMT 469 : Means&3rd

Monochrome presents, 𝖕𝖗𝖎𝖓𝖙𝖊𝖒𝖕𝖘 𝓥 : Forest On Stasys, Aura Sonora.

This spring, Monochrome is offering each month to one or several artists to discover their influences and inspirations through a forty-five minute to two hour recording. These three recordings will focus on percussive rhythms between Ambient, Deep Techno and Drum & Bass.

Artist biography :
The creativity of Forest On Stasys is Influenced by tribal minimalist techno in the nineties and the deepest and most abstract techno currently. In his tracks the most seductive elements are the use of resonant basses perfectly combined with long and reverberated pads, extensive sonorous landscapes that are modified by continuous movement of LFO, solid grooves and strident percussions.
But not everything that comes out of his head is created with an intention to be used on the dance floor. He has a great admiration for drone and ambient tracks, without a rhythmic pattern that predominates, where the main factor is to captivate the listener with melodies that can be marked by a strong melancholy or with notes that give a certain feeling of satisfaction depending on his current mood.

@fleika grew up during the heyday of
Prague’s rave culture, coming of age
as a DJ in booths built for a single night
only. The Czech techno renaissance
formed him, then the newly-born club
culture embraced him as one of its main
protagonists.

Industrial ruins, modernist landmarks;
fleika’s trip through the blooming
nightlife imbued his craft with intuition
and technical precision. His sets are a
humble display of his ability to hijack
the mind of a listener. He likes his
dancefloor quiet. No cheers, no chants,
just a stomping crowd, locked in their
own heads.

The Ankali resident digs anything that
kicks, melts or makes one’s mind trip,
but mainly thrives on diving into the
vast depths of hypnotic and psychedelic
techno – as deep as it gets.
