Thank you Samuel for writing this song. It's a song about a mother and son, and then a song about a young man and his bride.  Mom is reflecting on her newly engaged son Tucker and all the memories they shared. She loves him and wishes she knew him better. As a boy he told his mom he would always protect her. When she asked why he said because you always protect me. He has funny quirks: He love Phish and Don Julio 42, he hates gossip. He thinks his mom's stories are too long. The month before Covid hit, he met a girl. They fell madly in love. This song transitions to the first date where Shauna got nervous and stood Tucker up on the first date. When they met again Tucker called her the wrong name throughout the entire date. In June 2021, they got engaged at Lake Dillon (Frisco, CO). Shauna is a teacher, Tucker is a realtor. They'll marry in July 2022.
