My name is Dominika Karaszewska (DMNK). I am 21 years old. I started DJ'ing 3 years ago and I've produced my own music since one year. I'm a Polish woman and I was born in Toruñ. I grew up in Utrecht and currently I live in Amsterdam. I study medicine at the University of Amsterdam. Making my own music has always been a dream for me. Before I started playing and making my own music, I always searched for new music on platforms like SoundCloud. I enjoyed letting my friends hear the new tracks that I found. Going to university triggered me to develop myself in this field. I
never really got the chance to learn how to play an instrument. But I always had a feeling that I should play, which is the reason why I started DJ'ing. After 2 years, I started producing electronic music. I'm developing myself in making house music, but I often find my inspiration in different electronic genres, for example techno, acid or trance or other genres, for instance jazz and disco.
