A house track with deep sounds

My name is Dominika Karaszewska (DMNK). I am 21 years old. I started DJ'ing 3 years ago and I've produced my own music since one year. I'm a Polish woman and I was born in Toruñ. I grew up in Utrecht and currently I live in Amsterdam. I study medicine at the University of Amsterdam. Making my own music has always been a dream for me. Before I started playing and making my own music, I always searched for new music on platforms like SoundCloud. I enjoyed letting my friends hear the new tracks that I found. Going to university triggered me to develop myself in this field. I
never really got the chance to learn how to play an instrument. But I always had a feeling that I should play, which is the reason why I started DJ'ing. After 2 years, I started producing electronic music. I'm developing myself in making house music, but I often find my inspiration in different electronic genres, for example techno, acid or trance or other genres, for instance jazz and disco.

While he’s a newcomer in the Techno producer scene, California native Mikal Ostin is no stranger to the underground. Whether curating the Divine Species mix series - featuring globally renowned House and Techno artists - managing his label of the same name, or supporting his fellow artists on the dance floor, Ostin’s passion for minimal and eclectic Techno can be found seeping into the dark corners of LA’s warehouse district. 

A Jazz aficionado, Ostin separates himself from the traditional 4x4 techno crowd through his passion for syncopated rhythms mixed with deeper melodies. He prefers to craft soundscapes that bend and envelop the psyche. With his forthcoming debut single Trypophobia releasing on Divine Species January 29th, as well as a relocation to techno mecca Berlin, 2021 promises to be a foundational year for Ostin’s unique sound.
