Hoy os presentamos un Podcast de Pele Session bajo su pseudónimo NICTOFILIA.
Esta apasionada joven asturiana natural de Pola de Siero, lleva introducida en el mundo de la música desde su mas tierna infancia, ex-propietaria de uno de los clubs referentes de electrónica en el panorama astur de los últimos años, "EL RECREO". Donde sin duda demostró su enorme pasión y dedicación por la música, promoviendo y fomentando la cultura techno. A la vez su refinado gusto musical, organizando y dando a conocer, en sus reuniones dominicales a los artistas jóvenes mas talentosos de la escena nacional, es ahí donde, tras años de observar y aprender de los múltiples artistas que pasaron por la cabina de su club y de otros muchos templos, decide dar rienda suelta a su pasión musical y tomar los mandos de la mesa de mezclas. Destaca por su buen gusto y su excepcional criterio musical a la hora de elegir a los artistas que componen sus sets, donde claramente marca un estilo de elegancia muy propio e inconfundible digno de admirar. PELE SESSION nos ofrece en sus sesiones un ritmo progresivo, empezando por el mínimal mas fino y depurado para acabar en la mayor de las oscuridades musicales. A día de hoy su nuevo proyecto NICTOFILIA, donde la expresión ha cambiado para ofrecernos una evolucionada inquietud, con sonidos de baile hasta su parte más experimental en la cual nos expone una madurez musical muy recomendable. Podemos encontrarnos a Nictofilia en proyectos como DONATIONS, que es una iniciativa en la cual saca adelante una parte humanitaria para dar ayuda a los más necesitados desde la música electrónica, en concreto TECHNO y EXPERIMENTAL.

In techno circles, Cassegrain shouldn't need too much of an introduction. With a label résumé that includes, among others, Prologue, Infrastructure New York, Killekill, and Ostgut Ton—as well as highly regarded performances at Berghain, Village Underground, and Output—they've more than stamped their name on the scene. Alex Tsiridis and Hüseyin Evirgen—the two artists behind Cassegrain—formed the project after a chance meeting at the Redbull Music Academy in Barcelona. In the years following, they collaborated remotely via email, sending stems back and forth before making a move to Berlin where they currently share a studio.

Cassegrain are releasing their music mainly on their own label Arcing Seas. Under their solo monikers they are also steadily putting out great music. Magna Pia recently had a new EP out on Soma Records and Rhyw on great platforms like Shifted's label Avian.
