 Inspired by horror game soundtracks with heavy, crushing atmospheres, his love of classical and hardcore music, and the idea of dissociation and abstraction from the everyday, Sentient’s distinctive sound fuses these influences resulting in a mesmerising blend of gloomy and oppressive sonic landscapes that aim to move the listener to an intangible plain outside of their field of vision.

 Signed to Bristol-based Foundation Audio (UK) as well as XCPT music (IT), QEONE (DE), DNO Records (UK), Dub Colony (CH), WobWob! (DE), ENDZ (UK), Locus Sound (UK) and LDH Records (UK), and with a monthly radio show on Mode London (UK), Sentient continues to establish himself as a new sound in the underground music scene. The A-side “Badboy Sound”, channels the roots of jungle through militant breaks and bass pressure - a stripped-back roller built strictly for the system.

On the flip, “Droideka” takes a darker turn: a minimal, shadowy and atmospheric cut, it balances the raw energy of the A-side with a hypnotic, brooding weight.
