Having James Shinra back on AF is always a cause for celebration, and doubly so this time because we present 'Meteorites’, his second album following the highly acclaimed Vital Heat (2018). During 2023-24, James uploaded a series of digital releases called 'Meteorites’, a set of dreamy and introspective tracks where the artist showed his evolution and maturity, refining the emotive sound that's his trademark and has garnered so much praise in recent years. We should do justice to that material, giving it a worthy treatment/format, so we decided to release all together. James has revisited and reworked many of the tracks for the occasion, polishing, adding, removing… and the result is 'Meteorites', the album. A MUST for all braindance sensibilities and nonconformist electronic  heads. We're sure it will remind you exactly why you loved this talented guy for so long and why he's one of the most uncompromising artists working in electronic music these days.

So I buy this drum machine from a guy on the net and he sends it with a DAT of a release I was supposed to do with his label 33 years ago!~ What are the chances? so crazy~~!! He used to work at Planet X Records in New Jersey and had this DAT all these years (the only copy that exists as I never made back ups)
this was a followup to the DJungle Fever analogical mind release from 1993 and now I actually have it back so here you are!

This one goes way back — to 2018, when Marco sent over a folder of live jams, recorded somewhere between Tucidite (Milan) and Chirignago (Venice). Years later, two of these tracks finally see the light, and it hits like a full-circle moment both for the label and the artists.

Both cuts recorded live straight from the machines, no polish, no presets — just analog grit, instinct, and a deep dive into samples pulled from nature and far corners of the world.

The new Samurai Music series of 12"s - Samurai Hannya - are based on the mythical masks of a Noh drama (a form of traditional Japanese theatre). Hannya masks capture the stages of transformation of a female character as she undergoes a metamorphosis into a demon / ogre.
