I make beats by playing traditional instruments such as Koto and Shinobue myself. I love field recording at shrines and uniquely Japanese locations. I enjoy collecting quirky folk crafts for sampling. I love being inspired by the ambience and energy of a place

BO stands for “Beat Okeiko”, which is simply my practice ground for beat making, playing instruments, recording, mixing and mastering. Okeiko means a fancy way of “practice” in japanese😜
