Im Sommer 2015 auf Ibiza fragte Jo.Ke, der in dieser Nacht mit Feathered Sun spielte, @mommusic, ob er „How Strange“ kenne. Luis Couñago Luque, so der bürgerliche Name von MoM, griff zu den Kopfhörern und hörte sich die Nummer an: „Ich war total vom Sound der Flöten begeistert.“ Also nahm er sich der Nummer an, um einen Remix nach seinen Vorstellungen zu basteln. „Ich sprach mit meinem Freund ANuT (@soul-36), und wir begannen, mit dem Track herumzuhantieren." (...) Mit der Hilfe von @vikenarman und seinem Imprint @denature-records erscheint der Remix nun als freier Download bei trndmsk.

Seirenes is a kind of excursion into the Homeric epics and at the same time a very close and intimate feeling of longing into which you can fall. In the course of this work @lyhre had dealt with Greek mythology as well as the symbolic power of the siren, which gave rise to these synthesizer sounds, somewhere between the feeling of an entire orchestra being submerged in water and the clear, almost steel sound bordering on pain. In the midst of it the seemingly incessant repetition of the vocal, a verse, somehow isolated. In these few words she already tells a large part of this whole. Seirenes is a narrative, but not a heroic song. Perhaps it’s a lingering echo, an echo of all the stories so often revived, told by the siren itself.

Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

At the very hub of this wheel which is falling apart, is Beauty. And it will keep on rolling until everything that has gone to make up the wheel has disintegrated. It has already rolled over a goodly portion of the globe, over Persia and India and China, and like a magnet he has attached to itself microscopic particles from Kurd, Baluchistan, Timbuktu, Somaliland, Angkor, Tierra del Fuego. The wallpaper with which the men of science have covered the world of reality is falling to tatters. The grand whorehouse which they have made of life requires no decoration; it is essential only that the drains function adequately. Beauty, that feline beauty which has us by the balls all around the world, is finished. San Miguel’s musical signature is defined by his various interests and influences of his travels through time and space which manifests itself into a soundscape of hypnotic spheres and deep driven basses. Often combined with folkloric elements and a range of organic instruments, his sound weaves unique tales that carries the audience gently and straight into an ecstatic dance experience. He is a master for clashing the styles and shows a deep instinct for timing and suspense as he draws a bow throughout his mixes that will move any dance-floor that thrives on powerful global beats and psychedelic rhythms. That special composition led him release his own productions on labels such as Leveldva, Underyourskin Records, Lump, LNDKHN, Cosmic Awakenings, Serafin Audio Imprint and many more...

Together with LaniRose (@lanirose_monada), he launched his second electronic music label and sonic community „MŎNɅDɅ“ (@monada-project) in 2018, based by the philosophical monad as expression of the pure eternal essence which exists in every living being. Featuring talents from all over the earth, the label provides a playground for hand-picked and visionary sounds, expressing multicultural and contemporary beauty in modern simplicity. A space dedicated to emotional, deep, organic downtempo and progressive, melodic slowtech focusing on consistent deepness and defined by outstanding sound scripts and creativity.

As "Mônada Project" the two free spirits San Miguel and LaniRose are leading a rental & setup service with a variety of festival equipment like PA, tents, booths and unique light installations, hosting sound-journeys, gatherings and festivals & co-create together with the global tribe.
