1st try with studio.hd (little trance track)

I'm enjoying writing my own beats so here is my new one!

This is my second song written using Tabletop.I wrote it for another contest that I am in where it's a team of TT users against a team of BM2!! I upgraded to the bundle however, I still have to learn how to learn many of the effects. This is an upbeat number using about three synths as well as the tone generator the akai impc as well as TT's Gridlock. The triggerator helped put it all together.

Dancing On Tables (RPM Challenge 2013)

So I was bestowed this app from my iPad musician group as a song I wrote Dancing On Tables was remixed by one of the other members and he won a contest so he gave me his prize. Which was a ten dollar app of my choice. I picked Yamaha Mobile Studio as I read mixed reviews about it but I always loved my Yamaha keyboards so I wanted to see for myself. At first glance I was going to dismiss it as the sounds are nothing to write home about HOWEVER the work flow is very cool and I love the drums. I wrote this song using this app and then uploaded it directly to soundcloud with their internal soundcloud uploader. Hope you like it. Eventually I may add vocals....

Where There's A Will (RPM Challenge 2013)

This is very a very rough mix I know. This was recorded live literally less than 5 minutes after downloading triqtraq. 
I think it shows the possibilities of the app.

This track started as a sketch in Figure and morphed into my first track using Audiobus.  I pasted my Figure parts into MultiTrack DAW and started layering in various synth parts into MTD via Audiobus (including my first chance to record some parts with iMS-20).

Somewhere along the way it occurred to me that a piano part that I had sitting around for a long time would work well with the Figure sketch.  Since Bismark’s bs-16i just became Audiobus compliant, it was a great opportunity to try recording the piano part in MTD along side what was already there.

Everything eventually made its way from MTD into NanoStudio, where the arrangement was further developed, new parts were added and the track was mixed.

iOS apps used were:  Figure, Audiobus, iMS-20, MultiTrack DAW, NanoStudio, Magellan, Bismark bs-16i, Alchemy, NLog Synth, ThumbJam

Made with INTUA BeatMaker 2 This is my first song made using BM2 and my 8th song for the RPM Challenge. (10 songs in the shortest month of the year FEB) Hope you like it.
I used an awesome drum kit and loops made by the very talented Derek Buddemeyer. 
I like BM2. Has a nice workflow. Very new to me so I'm sure there is a lot more for me to learn but I thought this was a good beginning! I used my Korg Microkey25 for all the parts except for the drums. Thanks for listening.

Turn of Events (RPM Challenge 2013)

This piece began in one of my old favorite apps Polychord that just got breathed new life by adding audiobus support. I used audiobus to record polychord into Audioshare because I wasn't quite sure what I was going to do with it. However, after I recorded and like I initally wrote I copy and pasted the wave file into BM2. Using Audiobus I then recorded another part in Polychord using a different wave form for the sound. I then added the incredibly realistically sounding midi drums that I re'cd from Derek Buddemeyer written especially for the sampler in BM2. I added some fills too to add to realism. Next I added a very cool tron flute from Sampletank. (also recording it via Audiobus) That was it. I hope you like it. BTW Sampletank and BM2 worked flawlessly!! (and Polychord too) I used the on screen keyboard to record all the sounds. And of course the very cool ribbon controller and chord buttons in Polychord! The icon shows a screen shot of my tracks in BM2
