SANATORE

2006: From the partnership between Rudi Sgarbi (vocals) and Felipe Melo (guitars, bass and drums) a project called SANATORE is born. As soon as they get together, they get into the studio to record the first CD, self-titled album of the band.

Strong lyrics, remarkable riffs and mad guitar solos show the way to be followed from now on.

2011: After a period of ups and downs the duo gets together again, this time to record a commemorative single as a tribute for the 25 years from the releasing of “Cabeça Dinossauro”, classic album of the rock band Titãs. The chosen tracks were “Cabeça Dinossauro” and “Porrada”.

2014: “Lenta Corrosão da Alma” (Slow Corrosion of the Soul) is the name of the latest effort. Lyrics, riffs, guitar solos, distortions and a lot of weight gathered in direct – and interpretative – way make it very clear that SANATORE’s purpose is still on. Forceful, non-linear and mature at the same time.

The despair-reflection-overcoming approach is remains as the signature and this time, as the first sentence in the first single (“Luto Por Tudo” – I Fight For Everything) says ”sempre em frente derrubando um de cada vez” (“Always moving forward, knocking down one at a time”).

SANATORE
 
2006: Da parceria de Rudi Sgarbi (voz) e Felipe Melo (guitarras, baixo e bateria) nasce um projeto chamado SANATORE. Assim que se reúnem entram em estúdio para gravar o primeiro CD, que traz como título o nome da banda.
Letras fortes, riffs marcantes e solos alucinados mostram a diretriz que será seguida à partir desse momento.
 
2011: Após um período de altos e baixos a dupla volta a se reunir. Dessa vez pra gravar um single comemorativo em homenagem aos 25 anos do lançamento de “Cabeça Dinossauro”, álbum clássico da banda de rock Titãs. As faixas escolhidas foram “Cabeça Dinossauro” e “Porrada”.
 
2014: “Lenta Corrosão da Alma” é o nome do mais novo trabalho. Letras, riffs, solos, distorções e muito peso agrupados de forma direta – e interpretativa – deixam bem claro que a proposta do SANATORE continua firme. Mensagens contundentes, não-lineares e maduras ao mesmo tempo.
A linha desespero-reflexão-superação continua sendo uma marca registrada e dessa vez, como diz a primeira frase da primeira música de trabalho (Luto por tudo), ”sempre em frente derrubando um de cada vez”.
