Soul Tattoo was born of poetry I wrote years ago about a unique, epic and heart wrenching love affair. It is the second single whose lyrics I used from these writings (the first was Our Inception in 2020) 
Presented a few months ago with the dreamy trap beats of L.A. producer Dansonn, I fell in love with the track and knew immediately it was right for the song. In the studio with engineer Ben Arrindell, we chose to keep the vocals whispery (originally due to my cutting demo vocals in my NYC apartment in the middle of the night :) to add to the intimate mood and overall chill atmosphere of the song.

Fiery Vocals from the soul on Eurodance-Electronica Urban Beats and inspirited piano.
It all started with a love poem scribbled on a napkin on an Icelandic flight between Reykjavik and New York City. It is now part of a poetry compilation entitled “Orchids”, dedicated to this unique soul connection.
Years later, inspired by the piano mastery and fluid Urban Beats of L.A. producer Dansonn, Sanctity was compelled to create the fiery vocals of “Our Inception” from the initial poem. The song was to become the first single of her upcoming album Berlin.
Sanctity’s earlier works, were atmospheric poetic journeys of sensually spoken lyrics over Downtempo and Trip-Hop beats. This single, a Eurodance-Electronica track sang with compelling intensity, is a beautiful contrast of passionate drive and infectious, engaging melodies. 
The track reveals Sanctity’s innate ingenuity to bring to life new musical paths of poetic immersion, and transport the listener in a universe of her own.
The track was mixed by Sanctity’s Engineer and partner of over two decades, Benjamin J Arrindell at the World Renowned Old Mill Road Recording Studio (NAMM 2020 TEC Award Winner). Ben is a Grammy Award Winning Mix Engineer and has mixed for an array of artists including Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Yolanda Adams, Mary J. Blige and Busta Rhymes.

Our Inception

A unique voice of the sacred feminine, French born poet-songwriter-vocalist Sanctity possesses a deep sensuality and edge rarely found among artists of our time. She is known for her lyrically frank and emotionally intense songs that tackle a wide range of subjects including sacred sexuality, spirituality and transpersonal relationships. 
Her trademark is a simultaneously fierce and vulnerable vocal delivery. 

In 2020, Sanctity released a fiery EuroPop single entitled Our Inception. It was co-produced with Benjamin J. Arrindell, Grammy Award-Winning Mix Engineer (Busta Rhyme, Gerald Levert, Aretha Franklin, Yolanda Adams…) The song was co-written with L.A. producer and pianist Dansonn. 
Her upcoming release Soul Tattoo, is produced by the same team and is set to launch worldwide on 02/22/22.

Sanctity’s earlier works, were atmospheric poetic journeys of sensually spoken lyrics over Downtempo and Trip-Hop beats. The new singles, passionate EuroPop “Our Inception” and dreamy Chill Trap “Soul Tattoo” are beautiful contrasts of passionate and infectious, engaging melodies.

In 2010, Sanctity has worked in collaboration with Deep Forest Grammy Nominated Producer Guilain Joncheray on a Remix of her title "Sanctity of Sex".
She has also produced, directed and choreographed Live Shows featuring songs from her second album "In The Name Of The Mother...."  and showcased them in New York, in Berlin, Germany and at the Cannes MIDEM in France.
