This is a great mix with a very intentional selection and a patient build up. The task was very well understood and the execution very mature for someone playing for the first time. Really excited for the development of this project with danceable but introspective music.

1) What is your favorite book to read?
- It is not that I hate to read, but I´m just not a fan of it haha. But one of my favourite movies is Green Street Hooligans, Never Back Down!

2) If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have?
- Unlimited health! (not eternal life only lots of health haha)

3) What's the longest you've gone without sleep (and why)?
- Maybe a little more than 24 hours some years ago at a nice festival here in Mexico :)

About this EP :
Time and distance collapse in this album, which draws on traditions of sharing that go back hundreds of years. The melodies we create are rooted in a deep past: it is a music of primitive essence and nameless nostalgia, full of electronic frequencies that seem to touch a nostalgia, an ancient pain in our lives. In our identity that is never totally Canadian, nor totally foreign.

The collaboration of artists Firas Nassri and Sasha Theodora was born in 2020 out of conversations about the similarities we felt in the experience of our respective cultural identities and upbringings. While exchanging about our lives as immigrants, Firas having immigrated from Syria at a young age and Sasha's family being of Ukrainian descent, we realized that there was much to deconstruct in order to better understand what we carry within us subliminally.

The intention of the project is to propose innovative music, where electronic music and folk songs meet to guide the listener on an immersive journey of identity reappropriation. By reappropriating the music and stories of our ancestors, we create music that reflects our own identity within our respective cultures.

Finally I made it, to record a new Set and it makes me very happy to share it with you. 
Camper Tapes #1 and hopefully some more to come:
I'm still traveling along the coast and took most of my stuff with me on the surf Trip to be able to keep on mixing and producing. But I had to wait a couple of days for some sun, to keep the studio running...
The more it makes me happy that the new set is now finished. I hope you like it. 65 - 115 BPM 

Set was recorded at the spot in Carcavelos (Portugal). What an amazing place and vibe.
Even got barrelled in the small shorebreak for the first time in my life when I was surfing just before I recorded the set. Perfect day. I hope I can deliver that vibe to you with this set.
