For the Mayans Kuxtal means life. For them, life was not reduced only to beings that are able to move without an external force. For the ancestors of this land life was a constant cycle of chaos and order which made all existence possible. For them there was no outside or inside and everything around them had life. From the stone which they stumbled, to the sun that illuminated them and allowed them to harvest their food.

Today we have lost our connection with the whole because we have left behind the vision of ourselves as an organic process of the entire universe. Immersed in an illusory world, we have been blinded by our material desires by invoking a ritual of death in the process. Constantly forgetting that us and everything around us is sacred because it keeps in itself a divine essence by its interconnection with all existence.

In this fourth edition of PBPRMXS we present Niño Amarillo with remixes of Narcisse and Isaque Solaris, who present us with an organic and interesting proposal which invites us to remember that the outside and the inside are two sides of the same coin and that therefore everything around us is as alive as ourselves because we are one and the same thing.

@kikikokolores, originally from Berlin, has always been passionate about music of many different styles and colours. For some years now as a DJ and party-organizer she is an integral part of the nightlife in Kassel, where she lives and works. She is also a member and co-founder of the collective Dreiradfahrt, whose mission is to spread magical electronic sounds among the people. During the pandemic - like many of us - Kiki Kokolores was limited to be playing at home, where she discovered her love for the slower side of electronic music, a love you will perceive in every minute of her beautiful, groovy and rousing set. armando is currently living in cologne, is part of the @3000-grad collective and is always a maximum beautiful encounter - both humanly and musically... 💖 

the set was recorded on 14.1o.22 (03-05h) at the "Fundbureau" in Hamburg, during our FUSION SOLI RAVE, which we organised together with our friends from "Soko Kickloch" to support the unique and epic FUSION FESTIVAL, 

armando was not only immediately happy to be part of this magical party, he also instantly was down to dedicate the recording to us as a cast! 💞

Observando as interseções entre a expressividade sul-americana e os sub-gêneros da Rave music e da cultura Clubber, @ku_rup está sempre em busca de narrativas rítmicas carregadas de drama e psicodelia. Seja através de mixtapes electro-acústicas em slowmotion ou mixagens dançantes e hipnóticas em alto BPM, este projeto é uma manifestação do batuque infinito que atravessa todos nós. Kurup é conhecido por ser um DJ e seletor eclético. Da música tradicional e popular às vanguardas da Electronica, tudo se mistura com muita sensibilidade e habilidade, adaptando-se facilmente a cada local e situação. Renato Rocha, o artista por trás do projeto, nasceu em Brasília e atualmente mora em Lisboa. Formado em Artes Visuais pela UnB, a artista explora multilinguagens dentro da dualidade entre som e imagem. É DJ, Compositor, Ilustrador, Cenógrafo e Produtor Cultural. Como músico já lançou 6 EPs, vários singles, remixes e já fez turnês por mais de 20 países. Como produtor cultural já realizou mais de 30 eventos especialmente em Brasília e Lisboa mas também em São Paulo e Rio de Janeiro. Em termos de visualidade e para além da Ilustração e Design, já desenvolveu diversas Instalações e Desenhos de Luz para eventos.

World BEAThoven Project:

On the occasion of the 250th anniversary of nature enthusiast, humanist, visionary and composition genius Ludwig van Beethoven, an international network under the direction and idea of ​​cultural manager Darius Darek (Taxi MunDJal MusiX) produced an extraordinary album: Twenty melodies from Beethoven's works were recorded on non-European musical instruments by musicians based in the Cologne-Bonn region. This sample databank was created under the direction of Hans Zimmer's sample library developer Felix Ohlert and was then used by music producers worldwide as the basis for new tracks of electronic music.
The album now being released will be presented at festivals and in clubs and rearranged for a 35-piece brass orchestra (Youth Brass Band NRW).

As Darius Darek's academic background is geography, he has implemented sustainable, degrowth and minimalism based, fair, green, common-good-oriented and alternative ways of life into this music project. A transdisciplinary designed artivism towards a socio-ecological transformation: 

- to promote „cultural diversity“ the project is a collaboration with musicians of diverse music cultures to record a sample databank.

- to promote „cultural heritage“ the project aims to upcycle & remix almost forgotten music by worldwide electronic music producers.

- to promote „creative commons“ the sample databank and the remixes can be used and listened to for free.

- to promote „socio-ecological projects“ the remixes are presented at green, transformational or zero waste festivals, at intergenerational bicycle rides or in „freeboxes“ (https://tinyurl.com/freeboxvideo).

- to include „citizen participation“ a random local youth involvement and a worldwide production contest (in cooperation with Arts Council England) were carried out: www.globallocal.co.uk/remixspace/

- the project thus supports some of the sustainable development goals (SDGs): reduced inequalities, sustainable cities and communities, quality education, gender equality and climate action.
