This set was recorded from listed's Tyrant on the Tikki party during Miami Ultra Week. The Tikki boat parties are consistently the best parties in Miami. That combined with opening for DJ legends Tyrant (Lee Burridge + Craig Richards) made this gig really special for me. The first half of the mix is pretty chill as the boat was sitting around the dock as people were boarding...An hour into it, the boat set sail and I picked up the pace for the kids to start dancing...

Founder of the Parisian label Curiosity Music, this French DJ and producer shines with a tech house to minimal style and a pronounced taste for hypnotic loops and sound waves. Combining groovy rhythms and synthetic melodies in the studio, Swann creates chiseled and structured tracks that penetrate directly into the brain, like powerful psychotropic for music lovers.
The quality of his productions signed on prestigious labels is recognized by the public but also by renowned artists, such as the Master Richie Hawtin, who playlisted his tracks during recent major performances at Time Warp Mannheim, EXIT Festival in Novi Sad and Dour Festival, Paco Osuna, Marco Carola, Stacey Pullen and Luciano just to name the most prominent.

Swann Decamme Live @Le Bikini in Toulouse (France)

August's mix comes from a place of reflection on travel, thinking about culture and sense of place. Being an outsider looking in, perhaps one can only scratch the surface. But maybe, in another way, experiencing a well-aged surface actually presents a rich, nuanced expression of character, developed deeply over time. Maybe wrinkles, eyes, and smiles tell our stories more honestly than intentions.

Hopefully a bit of that comes thru in this mix, selections with complex, detailed textures, which also feel like expressions of something deeper.
