I started my Ecstatic Dance Journey in 2008 at the very beginning of the now famous Yoga Barn in Bali, then in 2016 I gave birth to the Sunday Mornings Dances at Pyramid Yoga in Koh Phangan and the Evening Friday dances in Jaran's.
Consistently started to record my sets (or almost) only in 2017/18.

I will try now to upload one every Saturday starting from those days ...... raw as they are (as I do not even re listen to them before uploading them!!)

The Ecstatic Dance Journey

This is a long journey, a 6 Hrs set - 70 to 128 bpm - Spontaneous afternoon session @ Why Nam beach Koh Phangan
Just to say ... during the set I was flying on shromies myself and started the recording about half hour after i started playing so  the whole intro is missing!! 
No words to describe the day, just gratitude to everybody who has been there chilling, dancing, smiling and sharing their vibe!

As by request of venue’s managers, first 2/3rd of the set is very chilled and relaxed and subsequently slowly build up till sunset time.

DAYDREAMING
Here is a very chilled mix of organic, instrumental and electronic ambient music. This is a set to chill and as the title suggests “daydream”
I am trying lately to blend different styles and genres of music within the same sets in order to give the listeners a full range of feelings and emotions on top of educating them in listening to different music of what they are used to.
As music lover and collector I have a natural desire to share my passion in all its aspects, in this case music.
During all my years digging and exploring i learned to appreciate almost all genres and have been able to find gems within every style.
Throughout this incredible journey music has helped me a lot to open up my mind and therefore my boundaries and I wish the same to happen to everybody.
Ultimately music is our medicine!!

Daydreaming

Hi FAMILIA … here is my second intuitive and improvised recording called STEP OUT of THE BOX.
In this series I just start to play and listen some new music and recall some old, practicing mixing and transitions while recording.
No structure, no preparation, no playlist, no goals just pure freedom and inspiration ....... just trying to keep it chilled!
Exploring my collection and allowing myself to go wherever I feel in the moment as well as making mistakes.
Nobody listening, nobody really playing!!
No pressure of pleasing anybody or making anybody dance!!
….
Ended up discovering some great new tunes that would have otherwise got lost in the mess of countless folders as well as some old gems (I am such a mess!!)

Sorry for having missed the last 2 weeks but I was touring through festivals in Europe so I will upload a special  one here.

This one is N. 14 played @ BOOM FESTIVAL’s Being Fields Shala on 23/7/22

Infinite gratitude to Nir Hermelin and his guitar for the magical sound bath at the end of the journey!

Can’t really describe the excitement of playing in such a special event.

Everything was new to me in terms of playing at BOOM Festival and on top an Ecstatic set in such an environment.

All flowed amazingly well and the crowd of course were super open and ready to follow the journey!!

BOOM Festival Ecstatic Dance @ Being Field - 23/07/2022

Here is the recording of my set at The CHILL OUT GARDENS of BOOM FESTIVAL
A dream for many Dj and Artist .... The Gardens at the BOOM is considered a milestone in their careers

The set itself is a combination of different styles (mainly psychedelic) and waves melted together in a journey that I hope will make sense to you.
I was asked to play quite a chill set but could not resist to bring the energy up for a few short stages along the journey.

Hard to put in words the excitement and the overwhelming feelings for playing at such a stage.
So I will just express my deepest gratitude here to Golan Bayawaka for the connection and trust, to Osman Gayatree for the input back in the days to Shay Barbalat for his brotherhood , to all the dancers who were in front of me and to all the Boomers for their beauty.

Last but not least to all the artists who created the music in this journey. They are the core of the music we dance and chill to, full support and respect for their wrk and art.

This is n. 25 and is much more actual then the few last ones.

It is actually the first one played on public in 21/01/22 after being busted in Oct 2021 (see one of the previous sets) and all the restrictions for Covid where lifted in Thailand.

Because of what happened in October we decided to change venue and we started a new series of events called Mystic Tribe Ecstatic Dance.

Since I was continuously collecting music during the cover period but not really playing much that was the occasion for me to play all that new material and change a bit the style to give a new imprint to my sets.

ECSTATIC DANCE MANTRA EDITION n. 2

Today I want to share a very special one that has been awaited to come out  since the last one played 2 and half year ago!! 

This is the last one I just played at Pyramid Yoga (Koh Phangan) on Sunday 08/01/22 to start the upcoming year in FULL CELEBRATION!!

I challenged myself in getting ready for this as it takes a lot of research and arrangement to prepare a solid and flowing journey using only tracks with Mantras included or find some others to mix Mantras in.

Ultimately I did it and on top did use only fresh tracks never played before apart 2 of them that i felt to still include inside.

Koh Phangan is a special place to play Ecstatic Dance. It is a well known Party Island and in general the Ecstatic Community here is pretty open to receive and dance any style of music and always ready to blast it in full celebration.

Honestly I never came across a dance floor as total, wild and present as this one!!

SANDESH - ECSTATIC DANCE MANTRA EDITION n. 2

TERAPIA SHAMANICA

This a Shamanic Ambient set I have been commissioned to record as musical journey accompanying a Spa therapy based on cacao and other medicinal plants products, lasting 2 and half hours.

I have been requested to divide the set in different time sections but was given freedom to choose the music myself. 
The focus was more on picking up the right tracks rather then choosing it by genres or bpm and the whole process has been quite interesting to me, from researching the right music for the right sequence as requested, arrange the playlist in a nice flow and then recording it trying my best to perform the transitions.

It is mainly an ambient set with a blend of electronic and organic music infused by loads of natural sounds.

Here is the recording of the set I played from 00.00 till 2am at the ECSTATICA NYE Celebration.

After the mesmerizing AUM Chanting at midnight and the countdown I was doubtful how to start ... at the very last moment this is what it came out.

My last ED set played at Pyramid on 14/09/25 .... as usual something different!
After my intro and  the 15 min facilitation into movement by Christina I felt the dancers were ready to explode!!
From the very start till the very end the energy and vibe in the dance floor was just .... pure bliss and yet madness!!
In my ED history I've never experienced a dance floor as playful, open and present as the one in Pyramid .... ultimately my home!!

Psymbiosis - Suria Namaskara

Since the 1st one is the most popular of my sets and have been asked since long to record another one.... here is the 2nd.
Suria Namaskara in sanskrit language means Sun Salutation.
Best know in the Yoga world to define a series of movement or Asanas to wake up your body in the morning or either to warm it up before any other more intense series of Asanas.
In this case I wanted to record a set to allow you to have a pleasant and refreshing wake up.
Sometimes  a good chilling morning is the best thing to do to refresh your energy and start the day with a good mood!
Allow yourself to be present in whatever you are doing, in silence, just listen and follow the flow.
Let yourself be transported in whatever direction your body and your mind will bring you!
Just be and live your own truth in this very moment!!
Hope you will enjoy this selection of tracks and chants mostly performed by female singers with an amazing voice!!

Recording of my Extemporary and Improvised set @ Dakini Nights @ Gaia Koh Phangan. This set comes in waves  ... so try to surf them!! :) 
Alice Rose was singing and playing her magic Viola on top of it and is such a Pity we did not recorded it, sometimes i needed to double check on my headphones if what I was listening was within the music i was playing or her ... next time need more focus and remember to record!! ... When listening to the set consider sometime I was looping for her! :)
Immersed in nature the venue is simply mind blowing, offering a space to relax, connect and simply BE.
I created this event for the community to have a space to gather in Harmony in Nature and enjoy the Sauna, step out from the buzz of this magic still busy Island and take some time for ourselves!!
Totally improvised set, ranging from soft meditative music to some more upbeat and electronic, a mix of world fusion and modern beats!!
Did not even listen the set again but enjoyed playing it!!

Eugene Fed was playing his magic Cello on top of it and is such a pity we still did not managed to record it, the second laptop did not have enough memory to hold the recording and it completely run out of it until frozen and could not perform any actions to retrieve it!! ... and in few words ... the recording got lost!! PSYMBIOSIS  (Sandesh)- DAKINI NIGHTS # 2 @ GAIA Koh Phangan 19/9/20

This is a recording of a Special Mantra Edition ECSTATIC DANCE Journey that has been in my heart for long and finally manifested on September 2020 @ Jaran’s - Koh Phangan -Thailand
I prepared a folder with 108 tracks that included somehow Mantras in them and played on the fly selecting from them (and mixing a lot!!) Realised after that due to the limited time I did not play a lot of very nice ones (especially toward the end when i wanted to go higher!! :) ) and so reserved them for the next one!!
Got a really good response from the dancers who immediately asked to have more of that.
Super good vibe on the Dance Floor thanks to all of the great artists present in this set and to the dancers who really helped a lot to create a Magical Energy!!

Sharing Love & Passion through music at 360°

Sandesh aka Psymbosis has been involved in the music world since more then 3 decades. In the 90s he was playing and sharing his tunes and vibe in events within the Osho Commune international in Pune as well as in beaches and parties in Goa, at that time mixing on DAT tapes and Minidisks. 
From Ambient music until the latest innovative Experimental Electronic passing through all the possible ranges and styles, he has explored them all!! 

After a gap in the early 2000's exploring different realms of his creative expressions, he has been deeply involved in the music scene of South East Asia, sharing his passion in beaches and jungles parties as well as Clubs and International Festivals. 
He has ben playing in all the main venues in Goa, Koh Phangan, Bali as well as many of the main Music Festivals around the world! … to mention some:

His various and versatile style can fit any crowd at any hour at any kind of event! 

He silently contributed to the expansion of the Ecstatic Dance Movement in Asia being one of the first to bring it in the now famous Bali Yoga Barn in early 2000s and subsequently giving birth to the event "RISE" Ecstatic Dance at Pyramid Yoga and the Fridays Ecstatic dances at AUM  on the Island of Koh Phangan. 
In both cases the concept and the events he created has grown exponentially up to the point that are now well established in the Ecstatic Dance scene worldwide attracting hundreds of dancers from all over the planet. 

He plays music in a very versatile and various ways such that his alter-ego named Psymbiosis (Maharetta Records) is present in the International Underground scene sharing his passion and his vibrant energy.
