A life long lover of nature and constantly intrigued by the natural world and the invisible world of sounds that surround us. This has taken me on a journey of trying to combine my love of exploring and documenting nature with my passion for recording and understanding sound. The idea has since manifested into a number of interesting projects and is in a constant state of evolution. I like the idea of using art as a way to understand the world of science, using imagination to explore scientific ideas beyond the limits of traditional scientific methodology.

I have built up the gear to record and capture sounds for use in films, interviews and music projects or you can check out the library of sounds. I have worked on a number of film projects in a number of different roles and enjoy working behind the camera, which has helped how I work with sound. I like being able to provide a different point of view and unique service for people who like the idea of thinking outside the box, because I live outside the box.

Being born in the south has advantages, living in Amsterdam only makes them better. During the highschool years his electric guitar was the only tool of choice, until he encountered Techno, House and all the flavors that exist in between. So while still rocking out to Bowie, Dire Straits, Metallica, Slayer and sometimes switching to Enya, diversity is great, In electronic genre it's more often tech house, techno, some progressive but there will always be room for a shake up or 2. Amsterdam based Jarun is a deep house and tech house DJ and also working at his producing skills. Step by step Jarun is becoming a more household name in the Amsterdam DJ scene and this is not a coincidence. He won several talent races like Michel de Hey’s Kweekvijver and played at a great number of well known parties like CLiCK WesterUnie, DOK Amsterdam, Studio 80, Sugar Factory , Club NL, Beatclub, Cuebar and Barcode in Amsterdam, Click Festival in Zantvoort and Paard van Troje in The Hague. 

Jarun is able to connect a crowd, feel the atmosphere and make people party. His mix of deep house and tech house suits both intimate parties as well as bigger crowds. His performance is smooth and his sets are sexy and penetrating. Jarun is able to take any event to the next level and more and more people, both fans and bookers are starting to realize this.
