Hurra, Ray Okpara ist wieder da! Ist ja zum Glück auch keine Weltreise von Mannheim nach München, wobei der gebürtige Nigerianer im Frühjahr schon ziemlich viel durch die Weltgeschichte gereist ist – oder zumindest durch Europa von Spanien bis Rumänien. Im März hat er außerdem auf seinem eigenen Label AMA Records die insgesamt schon fünfte Best-of-Compilation ins Rennen geschickt. Einige Tracks davon dürften auch im Palais voll ins Ziel treffen, wir freuen uns drauf.

Selbiges gilt auch für die Sets unseres Discotribe-Duos Sandra Gold und Ricardo Pielok. Die beiden haben schon so manches Mal gemeinsame Sache gemacht und die Menge mit feurigen Mixturen zu tänzerischen Höchstleistungen getrieben – zuletzt erst im April an der Seite von Lützenkirchen. Der ist diesmal nicht im Starterfeld, dafür aber als Vierter im Bunde DJ Chew Solo vom Münchner Label Basspatrol Records.

Wisst ihr waaaaaas? Heute ist Premiere, denn: Wir präsentieren quasi weltexklusiv den allererst-öffentlichen Mix von Frau Ladisch! Jaha! Als Technokind der ersten Stunde war sie bereits als zwölfjährige Nachteule fleissig dabei, die Loveparade im Radio auf Tape mitzuschneiden #(olds)c(h)ool!! Irgendwann dann raus in die Clubs. Hardcore (Vibes? Zumindest war damals die Zeit haha) und Frenchcore, aber am Ende und im “Alter” (Zitat) geht sie es nun ruhiger an. Downbeat. Melodische Tunes. “Mein Set ist für Zuhause.. Für Dich! Eine schöne Weihnachtszeit.” und das lassen wir so stehen <3

Her sound can’t be reduced to a style. Versatile she cross boundaries and meet the audience with her own "Definition of Electronic Dance Music"! Sandra is known and loved for this. So popular that she won the Munich Nightlife Award 2014 in the category DJ Techno - House.

But Sandra Gold is not only a DJ, she also has her own label and a series of events with DISCOTRIBE. Under this brand, she not only satisfies the cravings for electronic sounds of the old school, but also presents driving beats and basses of contemporary design in an innovative-ornate robe. The union of different danceable styles and a symbiosis between currently successful artists, freshly growing pupils in the field of electronic dance and celebration culture, as well as heroes of the early techno era, that corresponds to the DISCOTRIBE philosophy!

DISCOTRIBE events have been around for 7 years now, as well as their own DISCOTRIBE podcast, featuring guest DJs and the resident crew. And if Sandra is not on tour with DISCOTRIBE, you'll find her pretty often at the Munich Palais Club on the decks and pushing the mood on the floor.
