An underground party that unites the happy dancers as in the nineties. No cell phones, no pictures, no social media, just pure music, pure happiness and pure magic.
My set was recorded. A techno journey for lovers and connoisseurs.

Ryan Hovinga, aka Sylent Syd, began his musical career in the mid-90s as bass player for Kitchener band The Rhinos, and also for Danny Michel's first solo group.  He taught himself how to DJ in 2001, and had his his first DJ residency in 2002 at the Purple Room, inside Waterloo's Revolution Nightclub.   His musical style favours a combination of smooth house grooves and aggressive, yet quirky techno beats.
Among the DJs he's played alongside in the past include Jacob London, Jason Hodges, Jelo and Tim Patrick.

He currently has a monthly residency at the Jane Bond in Waterloo, every 2nd Saturday of the month, which is mostly a 60s-90s retro inspired set, but his tech-house sets are where he catches fires the most.
