This song originated with Mark creating a bass line to a metronome, and sharing it with Ken. Ken immediately added his driving drums, and invited the rest of the EC to join in. JJ was first up, laying in his foundational organ, and e. piano magic in the first half, and the cosmic synth melody in the second part. Batting second was Josh, who established the melody in the first half with his electric mandolin, and mirrors the melody in the second half with the same. Next came Tez, who laid in the funky guitar right after the first break, all the way to the end. Batting clean up was Chris, who laid in the psych guitar in the first section, as well as the high guitar part in the second movement. Of course, we needed an expert producer to mix this for us, so we turned to Stephen, who always gets it exactly to everyone's specifications. That in and of itself is quite a skill, and I don't know how he does it, but everyone is always satisfied with his work.
  This is the second song we've done with Mark, who is a tremendously talented bass player, and delightfully creative songwriter. If you aren't familiar with his work, do yourself a favor and hop on over to his page for some delicious bass music. We hope you enjoy listening to this song as much as we enjoyed making it.

"Something More" is the story of a young man, who falls for somebody unreachable. It's about being lost in sweet dreams and the hope for something more though it's clear that they are not made for each other. 
When Stefan sent me the draft for his singer-songwriter / pop-rock song, his bittersweet melodies and happy chords inspired me to jump back to carefree teenage years. The arrangement and programming has been established in close collaboration. Flinn adds his deep voice and young spirit, turning this song into something special. Thank you so much!

Well this is a bit of a curve ball , I had been listening to Axel Menningen and was so impressed I asked him to help on a song I was doing , he in his wisdom suggested it being a duet , so I got in touch with my lifelong friend Kim , and the 3 of us put this together , it's a bit different from my usual stuff , but we think you'll like it ! On the 8th is a belter from me and Gaz , and on the 13th is another with Axel , this time with Charlotte . Most songs about break-ups, failed relationships and broken friendships are about despair, anger and grief. When I wrote "Goodbye Warrior", I decided to write about a courageous and understanding person, who realised that accusations don't make anything better. Forgiveness is the key. This song is about finding inner strength, and separate in friendship. Maybe we just chose the wrong type of relationship instead of the wrong person.

The Grand Parade w/Aleck Rand on Guitar

I'm not doing any music these days,so I thought I'd post one I did years ago. It's a cover of a Paul Ads song I've always loved.

Paul Adamson is a damn fine songwriter and I hardly ever record covers of other folk's work,but this one resonated deeply with me and still does after repeated listens.
I didn't lean too heavy on the production on this,because I wanted to allow the song to shine. I hope you enjoy and bring a few listens to Paul's cloud.
