 He has been working in music industry since 1993 as a Club and Radio DJ, Producer, Music and Program Director, Voice Over Talent, Marketing and Event Manager and international PR Director. He gained respect from his colleagues through his great works and his modest character.
GUR says, I am playing and producing music to release my soul, silence is the worst enemy of me.

He has started to his career on a local radio when was in high school, Istanbul in 1993. When he was studying in The University of Kocaeli, he was also working on foreign radio Red FM. After graduation from The University of Kocaeli, Faculty of Economicsand Administrative Sciences, Finance Managing, he returned back to Istanbul and started to work for Metro FM which was the first National Foreign Radio Station in Turkey, and the Radio was on the 15th in the rating analyses in 1997. After 2 years, he became a Music and Program Director of Metro FM. With applying his new extraordinary music policies on RCS which is best Radio Automation System in the world, he carried Metro FM from 15th to 1rst in the rating analyses. Metro FM is still on the top almost for 10 years. In that year, he was one of the event team members of Jaydee gig in Ankara. Jaydee gave a Plastic Dreams record as a gift to Gur Hekim and he encouraged Gur to play music in the Clubs .
GUR HEKIM's first Club DJ experience has started in Club Big Buddha in Etiler which was one of the elite clubs in Istanbul. And then, he was invited by one of the two biggest high societies Club, Havana, which is also known as Reina now on the Bosphorus, in Istanbul. After 3 years playing music in Reina, he made an agreement with Laila which is now another biggest high society Club on the Bosphorus. In the summer season of the same year, he was invited by legend Club Samdan on Grand Island in Istanbul. After that, he started to play jazzy house in A Plus society club, Q Jazz Club in Ciragan Palace on Bosphorus in 2004.
While he was playing in these famous Clubs, he was also working for Metro FM as a Program, Music, Marketing, Event Director, prime-time host and for other 4 group radios Art Director and voice over talent ( He also dubbed for documentaries and cartoons on Imaj studios, which has privileged global standard on film and advertisement industry and many international brands, Coca-Cola, Fanta, M&amp;M's, Renault and many more...) He is also a member of Dubbing Artists Profession Society, SES-BIR. Can you imagine that he used to sleep 3 hours and half in a day for many years!
While Gur Hekim was working for Metro FM during 11 years, he released many compilation albums collaboration with majorlabels, Sony Music, Universal Music, and EMI. Some albums won gold and platinum awards. METRO DANCE PARTY,METRO FM LET'S DANCE, METRO HITS, METRO HITS 2002, METRO SMASH HITS, METRO WILD PARTY, MILLENIUM HITS, SHUTUP N DANCE, SUMMER HITS By GUR HEKIM.

THE BLAC SWAN is a New York based Electronic music band consisting of JJ Ra & Dee.
They started their music career as a guitarist and a hip hop producer respectively and they set a goal to produce music in electronic genre in the way they always liked and listened to music.
The band officially formed in New York in February 2011.After signing a licensing contract with Music2 licensing companythey 
began their career with producing and performing theirmusic,and they are releasing three EPs 
(We Flyin’ EP, The Legacy of the Renaissance EP, Pollock’s Bash EP) on December 2012.
The debut EP, We Flyin’, and The Legacy of the Renaissance EP had been charted #1 on Beatport’s genre release chart, and #14 on overall release chart for about one month.
And Pollock’s Bash EP had been selected as 10 Must Hear Tracks by Beatport itself. 
These original mixes, along with their remixes, are being frequently introduced by many blogs and played by various DJs. 
The band started using the name THE BLAC SWAN before the film “Black Swan” was released and the name shares no connection with the film.
The name was inspired by the term “Black Swan” that refers to‘something that is very unlikely to happen, but would have great impact when happened,’ (Black Swan Theory).
They altered it to THE BLAC SWAN as their name. And they say 'we make new classics.'
