Sands Around Infinity blazes new frontiers with its innovative creations.  Indian and Western classical music, jazz and tango are merged together in a natural and effortless way.  With its soaring melodies, robust rhythmic energy, lush harmonies, polyphonic excitement, improvisational spontaneity, heartfelt depth of expression, and technical excellence, Sands Around Infinity has a freshness and positive exuberance that draws in and moves the spirit of audience members of all ages.  The trio’s original arrangements of traditional Hindi, Sanskrit, and Telugu bhajan songs of India are the core of its richly varied repertoire.  Praised for its sensitivity of chamber music communication between players, Sands Around Infinity’s music breathes and flows as exotic flavors and moods unique to India and its music are blended with familiar Western musical language to create a refreshingly new musical experience.  The group’s vibrant East/West fusion and its engaging manner of demystifying elements of Indian music has proven to be remarkably accessible and appealing to audiences.  Since 2011, Sands Around Infinity has shared the goodness and beauty of music with audiences throughout the USA, Germany, and India.  An exciting new development is the 2015 collaboration with vocalist Sikkil Gurucharan, one of India’s foremost younger generation Carnatic classical musicians.

I'm a musician who plays for passion & composes from inspiration, with no formal training in music. Drawing inspiration from Yanni and AR Rahman, I'm a self-taught keyboardist, guitarist and vocalist. I've also been lucky to have had the company of some very talented and complete musicians as friends over the years, and owe a lot to them!
