dunda or dND is an experimental electronic project found in 2020 by the Sound Recordist Salvatore Tagliavia.
The idea comes from the acousmatics music approach, using synths and tape techniques to elaborate sounds from nature, foley and ambient, dunda creates noisy soundscapes, thoughtful ambiences and much more. ⠀
The result is a variety of sounds: it's an experimental project that uses various combinations of different kinds of sounds (foley, tape loop, vinyl loop).⁠
It's sounds through materials: all of these sounds are recorded and/or elaborated through materials, or using the resonance of different materials (wood, glass, metal) to elaborate the ⁠
musical and acoustic characteristics of the starting sound. All of this, before or after an effect chain or a synthesizer processing (all in analog!).⁠
It's music for every ear: the first target (a challenge?) of this project is to create different music patterns that meet the taste of different kinds of people.⁠
